"Farce, gross incompetence, and tragedy is the hallmark of big centralized government, wherever it develops. Big centralized government has developed in the United States year after year since the 1930s, and it has both solidified and metastasized since 9-11. Today, we live at the will and by the grace of a dystopian and grasping government. There is not an exceptional amount of time left before this government collapses, but before it does, we the people will suffer far more than we have suffered to date. Banking collapses, mortgage fraud at the highest levels, government bailouts, currency printing, and inflation in food and energy are just a foretaste of the future, led by the same Washington public-private cartel we have suffered for decades. . . .

"I believe our government -- outdated, unrestrained by the Constitution and soon to default on every debt it has taken on in our name -- cannot long endure. But unlike those who run and benefit from our modern American nationalism, corporatism and socialism, I do not fear average Americans seeking self-government, rule of law and liberty.

"That's why on Sept. 11, I will not be celebrating America's undeclared wars on countries that had nothing to do with the Sept. 11 attacks 10 years ago. I will not be attending remembrances of victims of that day, because those remembrances refuse to count American liberty, rule of law and freedom of trade and movement uppermost on that list of the sacrificed. I will not attend any program offered by a religious or political organization that seeks to ride a federal government bandwagon to confirm some imperative of war against Islam halfway around the world, or that seeks to promote the false concept of a culture war as somehow God's intent for America.

"On this 10-year anniversary, I intend to go about my business as usual, and say a prayer of gratitude for the small freedoms I have left. In the afternoon, I'll be in Charlottesville, Va., learning about local apprenticeship and crafts demonstrations. In the evening, I'll check the livestock and gather the eggs. I won't allow what I personally experienced that day in the Pentagon, nor the subsequent government drumbeats for war, waving the Sept. 11 banner, to diminish my awareness of the meaning of liberty. . . .

"The real battle for Americans today is a battle to reassert our independence from an overbearing and unsustainable state. Today, we can all celebrate that there are fundamental cracks in the federal state's veneer, and we can be grateful for the options we still have in our own lives to live free, to practice charity and faith, creativity and productivity and to rediscover our own power as individuals and communities."

"Banking collapses, mortgage fraud ... inflation in food and energy..." these are the failures of big business and insufficient government regulation not of big government. We are not even close to a default on our debts, and indeed in this time of low interest rates and a lack of spending demand by individuals and small business it is the government who should be investing (big time) in our infrastructure... and the GOP/Tea folks who block such smart spending in favor of short term fault tax reductions. That said, I concur with the plan for this Sept 11.

Hits the nail right on the head. Reston, the central foundation of communist government rests on a central bank that creates its money out of nothing and lends it at interest -- it is unlimited power. The reason for the massive banking collapse (mind you, the big banks suffered nothing compared to the folks that were conned out of their savings and homes) is because the US went bankrupt already in the 1930's, and we are now using IOU's as our currency instead of the hard currency REQUIRED by the Constitution. The result is that the private Federal Reserve Bank now issues our currency whenever the government creates an IOU to the Fed -- the Fed merely prints up the money it 'loans' to the government -- even easier, they just write a check (and they 'lent' 45 trillion to foreign banks, too, as the recent audit of the Fed exposed). So, no, the US government will not default on their debts because as Kissinger said we will just print up more money -- but an apple will cost 5 dollars. And who cares if interest rates are zero right now -- IT IS STILL DEBT!! Sheesh. When will you bleeding farts take a math course. The massive expansion of the money supply now being done is STILL UNPAID DEBTS -- debts that CANNOT EVER BE REPAID -- EVER. This is the economic slavery we have been warned about over and over and over. Our infrastructure is fine -- what is not fine is the over regulation of production. America used to produce 10 times what it does now -- but socialistic policies have weighed down the producers supposedly to benefit the 'workers' who somehow think they own the business they work for -- investors and stock holders be damned. Big Labor has done nothing for the economy -- they are political power only for the fascists on the Left. The fascists on the Right are waging the foreign wars for the globalists using American resources to monopolize for profit foreign resources. And the mainstream media is all owned by these mega-rich corporations that somehow Reston forgets about. The Federal Reserve Bank is the Granddaddy of all the corporations, so until you can cut off the unlimited money spout, you will have more of the same.

I wish I would have an opportunity to vote for you for President before I die. I am 64 years old and right now I am also thankful for the fact that I will not have to personally witness my daughters and my grandchildren living in a country far diminished in stature from the one I knew! God Bless you Karen and you are right about celebrating simple pleasures this weekend however the victims, which I refuse to lable myself, as do you, deserve their ceremonies and blessed rememberances as we are accustomed to do for past indescretions committed upon us! God Bless the United States of America!

Lt. Col. Kwiatkowski, Thank you for your service to our country. I am MSgt (retired) James Woods. I felt like I was right there with you till you started in on 9-11 and undeclared wars. I will stand up with all Americans that choose to remember in their own fashion public or private liberal, moderate, or conservative- 9-11 - . To me it is more important to stand united than apart, put differences aside, clear our minds, and come together for this moment. It is not just America.; it's the world. 'Nuff said there. I care little that a war is declared or undeclared, after all it is war. I care about imposing our will on those that would seek to destroy us. I will fight the enemy where I find them foreign or domestic. That is my nature and is my imperative. I do believe that GoD has intent for us all, therefore for nations & principalities as well. Is it for me to decide, in my world-it is. Our government is what we all make of it. I think we all agree that we want to pay our debts, be true to the colors, and have America lead the "Fight for Freedom" into the future as well as now for ourselves and our posterity. I will have "Change", I will be part of it. If it means beating the "Drums of War", so be it, if there can be peace, I offer "The Olive Branch" of government. On 9-11 I stand with my countrymen (man, woman, child) and remember how I felt sitting in an AirFrame ready for take-off when a man said an aircraft had hit the "World Trade Center". Then when he said it was both not just one. I will remember when our leaders were smart enough to pause, ground all aircraft, and take control of our skies. I will remember upon dis-embarking, going to the lounge in the airport to stand side-by-side with my brother & sister Americans and watched the towers fall. How I felt the emotion of loss, felt the pain of knowing we had just lost thousands of friends, fathers, mothers, in short family. How later I wanted a reckoning, wherever it lead. The world had just become our battlefield. I felt it, every "Warrior" felt it. We would fight the enemy wherever we found them on whatever shore, on any ground, "We Stand United or we Die". As individuals, as a country. So you observe how you wish to that is your choice. Many will do so in silence, others more vocal, and the spectrum in-between. I am glad we live in a country where all voices can be heard, even the who's down in whosville, I hope Horton is listening. God Bless You, God Bless America, May God Bless us All. I am an American serving in the Forces to Guard our country. Semper Fi isn't only for Marines. I am MSgt James Woods, USAF retired: Military Contractor FTWOT (Fighting The War On Terror) wherever I find it. Foreign or Domestic. I must be true to my nature. Peace & Love, if not then I am "War".

5 stars plus, for the accurate observation The 'A' from Reston, how is it you don't recognize your theocracy's homogeneous partners and bed fellows (big government = big business) ? We The People have no part in the mix. MSgt James Woods, does your fight take you to those that brought down bldg 7, or those that fired the missile at the Pentagon, or the makers of the aircraft that was the first to ever disintegrate beyond recognition in such a landing / crash, or the ones that planted all the U.S. military thermite throughout the twin towers, or etc., etc., etc. ? I stand with you in defense of, and a return to the Constitutionally limiting representative republic - and - against its enemies, foreign and domestic !

All of you fail to recognize the real problem. As long as the members of congress can vote so they can keep their cushy jobs we the people will never have a voice. From the day they take office, they are thinking of nothing but getting re elected. Once there are enough people who realize they can vote themselves benefits, our democracy is over. Guess where are?

Actually Claiborne, The 'real' problem is that our government is owned lock stock and barrel by the Federal Reserve. End the Fed / Restore the Republic.

Anyone with a modicum of common sense knows you cannot monetize your debt by printing more money and paying it off with useless IOUs. And who are the geniuses who thought that if a trillion dollar bail out didn't work, another trillion would work? How many times do you Obamanistas have to slam your head against the wall before you say enough is enough?

Thank you - many of us non-Americans are begining to really hate America/ns for its non-invited interfering attitude where it creates more problems than solves. It's holier than thou enforcement of its own mores and norms on other societies is beyond democratically sound. It is a schoolyard bully!

Since the Federal Reserve was installed in 1913 at Jekyl Island in secret and then passed xmas eve while no one was really around has caused America's decline. We have government acting as criminal corporations with the elite's big business corporations in a fascist movement to exacerbate all of our liberties and ignore the constitution.. The bankers dictate to government their every move and it is not to do anything for the people. It is a deliberate attempt to destroy the USA as the largest democracy(which is a lie) in the free world. These corporation elite fascists want to bring in their New World Order which is no more than feudal system to control our every move and of course cull 90% of humanity and replace with robots which is called transhumanism. Do the research, their plans are all there to read for all, "hidden in plain sight" . Its a diabolical plan and people better wake up or their agenda will be realized sooner than later.

It is with unfettered patriotism, the dupe of designing statesmen control sentiments of civilian and military mindsets. To defend and uphold our Declaration and Constitution, which is designed to limit governmental overreach of a representative Republic, of free sovereign individuals, with a freewill association of unity and purpose. This more perfect union of sincerity and respect of the individuals God Given rights. Is the very point, patriotism and love of country was founded. Nonintervention in politics of other nations was Washington's advice. Dealings in commerce only through Lassez-Faire, ( financial system of Natural liberty) and free trade. Remove fiscal obstruction to private activity. Semper Fi indeed. A well informed Patriot forms a more perfect union. Thank you Karen Kwiatkowski, for your honesty and candor with a ray of hope. Andrew Dicks, SA, you can thank British Empire building for the state your in. Foreign interest seeking favor from America to further their private interest at home and abroad. The ills of democracy, tyrannical outcomes.

Excellent quote, lengthy but essential! I am pleased to witness more Sheeple awakening to think correctly about our present plight as so eloquently illustrated by Karen Kwiatkowski.

Amazing to also witness the parallel counter-intuitive anti-American democrat plantation, maintaining its dependent inhabitants of la-la-land, as so typically evidenced by no-name Reston above.

Nick Fury, you sound pretty Patriotic but when you state our wonderful govt commanded the 9/11 skies with any modicum of effectiveness, your thought process defies logic; I suggest you research NORAD timeline and Gen. Ralph Eberhart's actions on that treasonous day when America's military command participated in operating a massive coordination of preorchestrated obfuscating exercises during the attacks. I suppose you also buy the Hussein-Obama version of bogus Bin Laden vaporisation, gee too bad about Seal Team Six all coincidentally lost together, whoops! Uncle Sham could never operate these illegal foreign wars, were it not for endless supply of volunteer dupes who cannot tell dysfunctional VA from wonderful U.S. govt.

What we need more than anything is to educate brainwashed American idiots about meaning of individual sovereignty, Liberty, Constitution, and why our present debase subverted American culture cannot sustain Liberty in our devolved irreverent condition of deplorability.
