"If a man does not keep pace with his companions,
perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer.
Let him step to the music which he hears,
however measured or far away."

A true hero even for his simple times. Tolerance is something nearly totally lacking in this hi-jacked republic at this time. The media circus over a woman who clearly wrote she wanted to pass is evidence of this nonsense that is pervasive in our once free culture.

A great quote. Considering the events of the last little while, it appears by MSM imagery and government representations, most the nation is goose stepping in harmony with "Progressive" chaos and destruction. There is a cadence of liberty playing far away by a different drummer. My choice is to step to that distant music.

Isn't this the essence of true liberalism?  It rings true because it is true.  People associate more due to rhythm and tempo than appearances.  It's the difference between being authentic and putting on an act.  Liberty is not having to put on an act.
