This is so true. I am a writer and it used to really bother me to hear people, in general, misuse the English language. Then, in a lot of aspects, it became more common/wide spread. It was like an itch I couldn't scratch. Acceptance and tolerance became my tutors. The proper use of any language is paramount in communication.
