This quote is a principled concept lost to the politicos. The statist theocracy that infests this land only wants to know the most expedient dictums on how to kill the right of liberty and freedom by implementing their heinous version of tyranny and despotism possible.

"Right" has no bearing on the decision making process in DC anymore. However, "expedient" is whatever DC decides will work best to further it's own ends...the American citizen be damned.

I'm glad that even those politians that I don't agree with seem to be more motivated by what they feel is right than the evil that most on this forum attribute to them...

The crux of the problem is that people do what they FEEL is right regardless of whether it actually is or not. Now that is evil.

Poor generation x. It has lost out on values, thinking, learning right from wrong, having a God, or caring about their neighbor, or their own liberty. They move thru life instinctively pandering to immediate wants and desires with no concern if what they are doing is right as long as it IS expedient. Must all be politicians.

The Yosher " paths of uprightness". the right:-equity. uprightness. Liberty and freedom are paths of uprightness before the eyes of the Lord. " When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant to thy soul; Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee. To deliver thee from the way of evil man, from the man that speaketh forward things; Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;" Proverbs 2:10,11,12,13.
