Thank you for getting this correct. The poltically correct have replaced "he" with "it" and "they." I remember seeing the original strip - it was "he.".

I maybe wrong but I believe that little opossum Pogo was misquoted! I believe that he said, "We HAS met the enemy and he is us!" And even though he was misquoted IT IS one of my most favorite quotes!
