"[I]f we won’t choose to pay the price of liberty, then by default we shall suffer the cost of servitude -- whether it be the iron chains of a tyrannical oligarchy or the regulatory chains of unelected, faceless bureaucrats. When we witness our neighbors abused by tyrants, will we skulk away and hope we’re not next? Or will we stand by them and challenge -- as freedom-loving Americans -- the tyranny of lawless leaders."

The vast majority of Amerikans have not taken on servitude by default, they willingly purchased their chains for the price of liberty was not in them. Those willing patrons of servitude (as anonymous above - those that abide compelled compliance, license, victimless crimes, larceny with impunity {income / property / insurance / life taxes, funny money, etc.} and non-recognized inalienable rights) have sold their birthright to the occupying statist theocracy infesting this land for a mess of pottage. Amerika now drowns in the tyranny of lawless leaders and slave sheeple. Long live the representative republic.

FDR's vision. Robber barons by force. Domesticate and enslave. Subsistence living was and is one of the greatest forms of freedom. Remember the 140,000 thrown in jail by FDR to silence the undomesticated, free sovereign individual, small farmers and ranchers.
