One of the best Quotes (Statements) in History. Although the word united is spelled incorrectly on the quote. The u is not capitalized on the original it should be written as "... united States ..." not "... United States ..."  -- Mark, New Ulm      1
Thank you Mark, all most always overlooked is the de-emphasizing of united in the organized States. Also in the body of the Constitution, the individuals placed their hand in seal stating: "We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America,..." It is the individual that has primary sovereignty, then the States by right of their position to the sovereign, then least of all the national entity that unites the States. There is no de jure federal crimes (unless dealing specifically with the nation as a whole) nor common law, nor can there be as established by the several Republics united. AND, to promote the general welfare does not mean steal from the rich to give to the poor, entangle ourselves in foreign wars, national health care, IDs, forced charity, or compelled compliance of any kind.  -- Mike, Norwalk      1
Thanks, Mark. However, 'United' is capitalized in the Constitution -- check out one of the many scans available. The word united is not capitalized in the Declaration of Independence however. The Constitution is the beginning of a federalized United States (indeed, United is capitalized). Federalizing was perhaps the biggest mistake ever made (made at the behest of bankers). Every point made against federalizing in the Anti-Federalist papers has been vindicated by time and history and eventually led to a civil war that killed 600,000. Calling the federalization of the original colonies a mistake is itself a mistake, Ken. There was no choice, given the temperament and attitudes of the day, the mistrust of each other. It was, as Franklin said, hang together or hang separately, or forever be subservient to England. From the day we were created we began to die. The R and D party system has subverted this Constitution to the point where our nation is dead. All have rebelled against the Constitution, a violation of the 14th amendment, and no longer eligible to hold office. The R and D party system must be destroyed and government must be repopulated with statesmen and stateswomen who will submit themselves to the rule of law. As I stated in yesterdays blog concerning Switzerland and the Knights Templar, 3-13, ( 3, Chophshiy, Eleutheria, Apeleutheros Liberty ), and ( 13, Exo 22:25, Lev 25:37, Deu 15:6, Deu 15:8, Deu 23:19, Due 23:20, 24:10, 24:11, 28:12, 28:44, Luke 6:34, 6:35, 11:5. ) These are Liberties to secure rights of inheritance to the born free sovereign of a nation that set themselves and their children at Liberty. Now concerning placement of exaction, Deu 15:1 thru 18. And for a person to lend without usury, Psalm 37:26, 112:5, Proverbs 19:17. Befitting for the day, I ran away from home twice when I was 3, and once when I was 13. Also befitting for the day 2015, Proverbs 15:20, A wise son maketh a glad father.
