"Communism, avowedly secularistic and materialistic, has no place for God. This I could never accept,... I strongly disagreed with Communism’s ethical relativism… there are no fixed, immutable principles; consequently, almost anything—force, violence, murder, lying—is a justifiable means to the ‘millennial’ end."

A very accurate observation with a minor caveat. The structured inorganic body (complete with force, violence, murder, lying, etc.) is the communist patrons' god.

Interesting comment considering the fact that MLK went to a Communist training school (Highlander Folk School in Tenn); he was backed by many Communists; and even JFK said he needed to distance himself from Communists because it would destroy the civil rights movement.

Indoctrination of socialism plays well into the hands of communism spreading civil unrest. MLK voted a democ ticket.

Maximus, Texas You truly are thoroughly misinformed.
The Rev. Martin Luther KingJr., was never by any means a Communist.
"Just months after the 100th anniversary of the Bolshevik Revolution, it is worth remembering that King explicitly denounced Communism.

“During the Christmas holidays of 1949 I decided to spend my spare time reading Karl Marx to try to understand the appeal of communism for many people. For the first time I carefully scrutinized Das Kapital and The Communist Manifesto,” he wrote. “I also read some interpretative works on the thinking of Marx and Lenin. In reading such Communist writings I drew certain conclusions that have remained with me as convictions to this day.”

Then King listed the three reasons he could never accept Marxism.

“First, I rejected their materialistic interpretation of history. Communism, avowedly secularistic and materialistic, has no place for God,” he wrote.

Marx’s theory of “dialectical materialism” (and the conjoined theory of “historical materialism”) instead envisioned the human race as a one-dimensional economic creature.

“Second, I strongly disagreed with communism’s ethical relativism. Since for the Communist there is no divine government, no absolute moral order, there are no fixed, immutable principles; consequently almost anything – force, violence murder, lying – is a justifiable means to the ‘millennial’ end,” he wrote.

The second point, closely related to the first, recognizes that anyone who rejects transcendence and revelation must, by extension, deny any universally binding morality. The world then becomes a patchwork of competing moralities, begging the strong to impose their will upon the weak. King consistently disowned those who spoke of prevailing in their political cause “by any means necessary.”

“Third, I opposed communism’s political totalitarianism. In communism, the individual ends up in subjection to the state. … And if man’s so-called rights and liberties stand in the way of that end, they are simply swept aside,” King wrote. “His liberties of expression, his freedom to vote, his freedom to listen to what news he likes or to choose his books are all restricted.”

“Man becomes hardly more, in communism, than a depersonalized cog in the turning wheel of the state,” King concluded."

    Dear Mary of MI,

I think if you check my facts, you will see I am not misinformed. MLK may not have been a card carrying Communist, but he was under direct order of Soviet spies and financed by the Communist party. That is one reason FBI records were officially sealed by court order until the year 2027.
Or they could have been sealed because these records are rumored to contain instances of bizarre sexual perversion and homosexuality.
Or it could be as the Wall Street Journal disclosed in 1990 that MLK was guilty of plagiarism in his 1955 Boston University doctoral thesis.
Or it could have been that these records reveal where he was caught  running naked after whores in a hotel in Norway.
Or it could be that the records show that Mrs. King was in the process of divorcing him because of his affairs. She did retract the divorce when he was shot, and became a multi-millionaire.
Or the records could confirm what MLK's associate, Ralph Abernathy said in his book about the night MLK got shot. He was with at least two white prostitutes, and told Abernathy,"Tonight I will be f.......ing like a white man."
    And one could go on.
It doesn't matter how much the establishment sings his praises, he was still a degenerate piece of filth.
2027 is not that far away. I will accept your apology by then.

Communism is quite concrete in its ethical and moral foundation. It explains all of human behavior eventually. It is religion that is not exactly relative in it morality or ethics, but more what would be called baseless of ethical and moral foundation. Communism is pure science. The science of Communism explains murder and all other violences eventually, while religion attempts no explanation. Religion is a trick, a hustle where you hustle your brain away and continue your misguidedness.  If you don't understand the bases or motivations of behavior you will continue on your destructive path as all the religious certainly follow. In science there is analytical investigations, historical patterns are studied to inform of the past mistakes, for the further prevention of these mistakes. This is why we are not to involves our community in practices of capital punishment, for instance. Individuals involved in murder should be intensively studied for prevention. Communism is the moral and ethical way.

“Communism is quite concrete in its ethical and moral foundation.” If communism isn’t the most unethical, immoral and devastating to the human experience, it is a close second. Communism “is religion” that is not relative to ethics and morals. Communism is religion, NOT science ! Sillik, please prove communism is science (through scientific method - complete with examples) - you CAN’T !!

Socialism is: any of various economic, religious and political theories, philosophies or movements outside nature’s law advocating collective or governmental / religious ownership and administration of property (real / chattel / sensorial beings, etc.) along with the means of production and distribution of goods. Religions and political theories / philosophies / abstract analogies do not qualify as a science. How does communism scientifically define murder and all other violences? Sillik, you are a theocratic / compulsive liar.

Mike, Norwalk, I am providing explanation. Communism does not neglect its responsibilities, brutally imprisoning or executing as the judeo-christian performs. It intensely studies the crime situation, the patterns of what leads to such behavior, tries to make public what we all need to understand in the involved preexisting signs and signals to prevent destructive behaviors. Communism doesn't segregate like religion, good and bad, heaven bound and hell bound, but scientifically determines the patterns that we are all susceptible, and looks to prevent such behavior for others.

Sillik, I don't know what rock you've been hiding under but, your delusional lies are absolutely contrary to truth, history and reality. Please show me the teachings of Jesus the Jew / Christ that taught brutality. Jesus said: "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;" Communists brutally murdered 10s of millions just because they were religiously different (Jews and Christians).

Good Lord, what a bunch of rubbish.  Fred THE Socialist is in fact A communist.  Thanks for removing the veil for all to see.  Socialism is just the means to an end: communist enslavement of all.  Socialists rarely admit it since communism's history is well known and rejected by all who are able to remove its yoke.  Communism is straight up EVIL, and its proponents are demons who mock Truth, corrupt language to mean its polar opposite, divide, confuse and ultimately conquer to rule all "for their own good."

Fred you are merely a useful idiot parroting the dogma of slavery.  Why do you hate Liberty so much?  This site is dedicated to Liberty, do you come here to mock it?  Your dedication is puzzling.

Mr Archer, you've never heard anything that l've espoused before in your life. Everything you've from me is quite original.  The only freedom I observe in your arrangement is the freedom to be a pervert. No thanks. Socialism is the challenge of socialized behavior to create.

Mr. Archer, you cannot reject nature's formulations, not authoritarian, just our obligatory responsibilities. Despite what you say, until I came along no one insisted that Socialism is basically being a social person. No one espoused eliminating the automobiles, replacing them with public trains on tracks. No one proposed a national and international housing putting everyone under the same housing guidelines. No one ever wanted to follow this design because everyone is a top player. My ideas are for "the menials, I am a child prodigy like mom and dad said." Top players have top players designs, just like you Mr. Archer, which amounts to no actual design at all. National goods and services. Computerized, robotic community kitchens, all my ideas. And my slogan, Socialism is the challenge of socialized behavior to create.

Mike, Norwalk, everyone, without exception is "in reality" in their own made-up world of being a billionaire, at the least a millionaire. When mentioning living in a housing project, I'm referring to my own rational solutions to homelessness, no one has my answer because I myself plan on living in a housing project. You "know" this isn't good enough for you, and everyone feels the same way.

Correction: Mike, Norwalk, the last post was supposed to be addressed to Mr. Archer.  Mr Archer, original, a rational reflection would require a total elimination of firearms inside the borders of the USA.  Original, a rational reflection we require a need total elimination of drug

Mr Archer,  as I tried to say before a, original by the way, rational problem solving reflection would require the total elimination of drug dealing.  A, original by the way,  reflection would require the total elimination of sex trafficking.  We are not a naturally criminal species, by the way, original.  The goal of law enforcement should be put themselves out of business, original. Once again a rational reflection would require the elimination of firearms within US borders, original. Socialism is the challenge of socialized behavior to create.

Wow, what genius!  I suppose you have never read science-fiction in your life, or Utopia, or have seen Star Trek or Logan's Run, or today's WEF's plans for 15-minute cities or the Saudi's plans for 'The Line.'

Totalitarianism, authoritarianism, socialism, communism, whatever you want to call it is NOT a new idea.  The elimination of private property is not an original idea.  Corralling people into public housing is not an original idea.  A 'visionary,' expert, council or leader that decides how the rest of the people shall live is not an original idea.

These are all very OLD ideas of people who believe themselves superior to others.  This is the height of narcissism  thank God you do not have the power to implement any of these oppressions, but you certainly are in good company of many who share them.  You are not 'The' socialist, Fred.  You are A COMMUNIST, one of many.  You are a wanna-be Genghis Khan  a very REAL innovator in ruling the world.  You are a copy cat...

Mr. Archer, my slogan, Socialism is the challenge of socialized behavior to create is original and puts the whole ideology in the correct context and is simply understood by reasonable individuals of which you are sadly not associated. The ideological format is the key to human survival.

Fred, your repetitive platitude is vague and lacking any substance, and thus not one that will be spoken by anyone but yourself.  If that's the only thing unique about you, the rest of what you say fits in perfectly with authoritarian, socialist, communist ideology  which is nothing new.  Your 'slogan' is grammatically incorrect and in fact has no meaning.  I see that you have merely changed a couple words from your previous signature, perhaps in hopes of this version being recorded in the annals of history.  It will be forgotten as soon as you stop repeating it because it is not truth.

Truth stands unassisted, not requiring constant affirmation to assert its presence.

The core of truth lies in the understanding that while man is born free, not bound by the need for governance, he is inherently subject to the laws of nature embedded within reality—laws that must be discovered rather than created. The principle of cause and effect, encapsulated in the proverb "As you sow, so shall you reap," serves as the first law of nature, and thus follows the Golden Rule: treat others as you would wish to be treated.

The imposition of one man's will over another, contrary to their wishes, directly contradicts these natural laws, a contradiction that becomes evident when the Golden Rule is ignored. Socialism is an imposition under the guise of benevolence—driven by unchecked greed and hubris. Its unsustainable foundations predict an inevitable collapse.
