Kinda sorta in a controlled out-side-in perspective. BUT, OK, I'll quote it at length first: Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. In order to know the truth, one must first be honest with oneself and everyone else. Telling the truth exposes lies and deceptions, but is also restorative, celebratory, and nourishing. Thus it is dangerous. ;-) That takes courage, and perhaps the faith that it's worth it despite the cost. It takes Courage to be honest, to stand up to the deceivers who have made themselves powerful through deception and intimidation. But more importantly, to be honest with oneself is not an 'end' but a 'way.' So, which 'virtue' is paramount? Courage, Integrity, Charity, Love?
