"The Second Amendment is a doomsday provision, one designed for those exceptionally rare circumstances where all other rights have failed — where the government refuses to stand for reelection and silences those who protest; where courts have lost the courage to oppose, or can find no one to enforce their decrees. However improbable these contingencies may seem today, facing them unprepared is a mistake a free people get to make only once."

The Second Amendment is a tangible expression of the Framer's understanding of the inherent right of Sovereign Individuals to
safeguard their Creator conferred Lives, Liberty and property.

The very existence of the Second Amendment is intended to be a constraint on the evolution of State orchestrated chaos.

    History shows this statement to be 100% correct yet many in today's society are clueless and willing to have this right violated.

    Maybe, a thumbs down? Though a vague shadow reference to one possible scenario - as an over-all, very misleading. A couple of truths to make one believe the BIGGER lie.

    The Second Amendment is NOT a doomsday provision but rather a decree of inalienable right; even though one possible outcome to an exercise of said referenced right may occur.

    The current occupying statist theocracy infesting this land does not at this time recognize any individual sovereign's inalienable rights. Concerning the current state of affairs, it would be more accurate to say: all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed." (Declaration of Independence).

    Elections or "reelections" are now so prone to being fixed (by example; 108% of vote for one presidential candidate 0% for the other in Philly, bus loads of Mass. voters taken to New Hampshire on voting day, CA's millions of illegal voters, e-voting box tampering, etc.)

    The occupying statist theocracy infesting this land, along with its seminaries (government schools); and, the 4th branch of government (MSM); and, the theocratic socialists (Democrats to Republicans, communists to fascists, progressives to neocons, liberals to conservatives, etc.); and, the 5th branch of government = tech/industry; and, along with all other demonic sympathizers are now attempting to silence protests and the voice of freedom.

    Court have lost the courage to oppose the dogma and canons of the occupying statist theocracy infesting this land. It is NOT constitutional for courts to legislate and have such enforced. I can give many personal experiences here how the executive, legislative and judicial are acting antithetical to the other in taking away "We The People's" rights, religion, peace, property, natural law and justice.

    These contingencies do not seem improbable today but in fact, enforced realities.

    The 2nd Amendment fulfilling part of its purpose, instilling fear within those who would exalt the Qadesh, guided by the Nadiyb, grandee tyrant. Churl liberal in their very nature.
    Cleaning house in the west, and northwest has begun. The very tyranny spoken against in the quote, is that which "they" exercise.themselves in.

    5 stars for defining doomsday properly, in the case We need arms to settle this tyranny; however with Orange Sunrise We now get a temporary ally and stay of armed rebellion, hopefully.

    Our worst mistake was allowing voters to tinker with laws proposed by corrupt legislators and rammed-through by traitorous courts and executives;
    THE IDEA OF MAINTAINING A GOVT THAT IS CONSTANTLY VOTING ON OUR LIVES IS INSANE SELF-IMPOSED DESPOTISM

    "Dictators from the dawn of time have been sensitive to (fire)arms in the hands of the people". Not sure of the authorship but this is an irrefutable truth.
