Sometimes Archer attempts to revise Christian precepts or misquote Bible verses, when he wants to try to prove something, only revealing his lack of understanding. At other times he criticizes the same principles, when thay are not compatible with his own. Here he libels allChristians without even the courage to say so directly, while ignoring that Jesus told his followers to teach others the truth. I think you are projecting, David.  Ad hominem arguments only serve to distract from the discovery of truth.  The biggest problem common people have with organized religion is the hypocrisy of preaching 'love your neighbor' while at the same time meting out justice in God's name, ignoring their own mountain of sin.  Forgiveness and Truth-telling are the 2 principle teachings of Jesus — that's 'christian'.  But Christians do not have a monopoly on truth and compassion — precisely why there are believers of other faiths.  The truth is the truth is the truth — it belongs to everyone who tells it, the rest inherit the fruit of lies.  Love belongs to everyone who loves, the rest know it not.  Perhaps paying attention to the teachings of Jesus rather than following the metaphysical claims of ritual and dogma would be better time spent.  God's grace is His to give, the last may be first and the first last.  The ignorance is yours, David.  -- E Archer, NYC

Archer's statement is broad enough to even cover Buddhism as a religion. Jesus the Christ while on His temporal sojourn did not attempt to address all truths BUT, I here declare and testify that if there is a truth (each and every, any and all — without limit) it belongs to the Christ and all of Christianity (all else has another source). I would believe (at least hope), most other religions would make the same claim as mine concerning their beliefs.  -- Mike, Norwalk
Consistent with my response to David above, I am a joint heir with Christ to the King of the universe. My physical elements are made up of the universe's existence (tangible, intangible, energy — what ever corporeal man's current measuring equation, sort of a dust of the earth if you will).
