"It is not my intention to doubt that the doctrine of the Illuminati and the principles of Jacobinism had not spread in the United States. On the contrary, no one is more satisfied of this fact than I am.
The idea that I meant to convey, was, that I did not believe that the Lodges of Free Masons in _this_ Country had, as Societies, endeavoured to propagate the diabolical tenets of the first, or pernicious principles of the latter (if they are susceptible of separation). That Individuals of them may have done it, or that the founder, or instrument employed to found, the Democratic Societies in the United States, may have had these objects; and actually had a separation of the People from their Government in view, is too evident to be questioned."

George Washington
(1732-1799) Founding Father, 1st US President, 'Father of the Country,' Freemason
Source:
letter to George Washington Snyder, October 24, 1798, Mount Vernon, in The Writings of George Washington, vol. 20, p. 518. Washington acknowledged that the Illuminati had begun actively recruiting members from within the American lodges of Freemasonry.

I don't know how to rate this. George Washington is simply stating a factual chain of events from his vantage and personal experience. I should probably give the quote 5 stars as the Illuminate has been destructive to freedom and liberty, by design, from its inception.

To be "illumined" does not mean evil: George Washington and Thomas Paine etc., refute that contention

    G. Washington was a Freemason, not a member of the Illuminati. This quote (verifiable in his own handwriting) demonstrates that he was against the Illuminati, knew of their intents, and that the lodges of Freemasonry at that time had not yet become tools of the Illuminati. The Masonic Lodges of today, however, do appear to be an arm of the Illuminati.

It is a shame that an organization that has an objective of world domination, calls themselves the illuminati. There is a true Illuminiti, which is an advanced degree or the Rosicrucians, that has as their objective world enlightment, spirital elevation and the brotherhood of man. Imagine men of ill intent using that name so as to disguise their intention. Dont be fooled.

I think this is a typically crafty thing for a Mason to say. I think that if you look at the occult symbols of the Masonic aprons of Washington, they speak for themselves. It is said that Washington and Weishaupt were doubles. Masonry had been occult from the time that the Knights Templar landed in Scotland. The American and French Revolutions were naught but the English and French Masons working together with their "worshipful brothers" in the colonies to gain parity with the Monarchy in England and destroy it entirely in favor of mercantilism in France. I think that both the US and Israel are artificial Masonic constructs. Just look at the Supreme Court building of the State of Israel. That's what I think.

I agree with those saying that Washington was affirming that he is pleased that the evil intents of the illuminati had not penetrated freemason groups in the U.S., and that their dogmatic evils had not infiltrated U.S. founding documents either. As was typical among learned men in colonial times, his language is quite formal, and his use of double negatives makes it even harder to understand his meaning–a practice that finally gave way to more clarity in the 1800s.

If the NWO objective is to destroy US sovereignty then its probable that Washington was not an International Communist like Weishaupt. Sometimes however, I think that more could have been done to keep the US government from being subverted. This would have involved the banning of all the parasitic bureaucracies which currently appear to welcome the demise of the Republic. The same Republic which allowed them to fester like puss on a teenager. Another tactic would have been the control of the money supply under the strictest of terms right from the beggining. I'm often fascinated about Americans don't know about how many Presidents were assassinated battling to control who prints the money. WIth respect to the symbols found on Washingtons garments, they don't reveal anything about him being malevolent. After all, the pentagram when inverted is diabolical, however all the pentagram represents normally is a geometric expression of the PHI ratio. There is no doubt however that the Masonic buildings in Israel, the Land of Rothschild, are malevolent.

In 1776, at a Rothschild castle in Germany, Adam Weishaupt - a Jesuit- acted as their agent in organizing the Illuminati movement, which quickly infiltrated the Masonic and other secret societies of Europe. They artificially created the French Revolution, kept food out of Paris creating starvation, and the violence. Simultaneously, the Rothschild, aka the City of London, the power behind the throne of England, worked to dominate the American colonies. When they couldn't totally do so militarily, they worked the financial angle. The Rothschilds and 9 European allied banks own the Federal Reserve.

I think that if these people are so insanely powerful and didn't want their intentions to be known, then insignificant nobodies like the ones posting their conspiracy theories here wouldn't know about them. This leads me to one of two conclusions--Either these evil, secretive organizations aren't all-powerful, and the people posting here have somehow acquired incredibly valuable information from some exceptionally reliable source, or the people on here, and all others that spout their conspiracy theories as irrefutable truth, are deluded, having either deceived themselves into believing they are intelligent, or having been entirely deceived by some other source, most likely some internet site of dubious origins, or a History Channel special. And people who state that something is evil simply because they think a symbol is evil, or because they assume that their belief is somehow a universal truth, are sadly mistaken. Just because someone uses a symbol to represent something does not mean that a symbol is inherently evil. I'm not defending anyone, masons or Illuminati, anyone. But I am critical of stupid people--Especially those who think they are intelligent. Those are the most dangerous ones.

@ DW This isn't a conspiracy. The quest for a world government has been going on for a long time. For example, on Feb. 17, 1953, Financier Paul Warburg said before the U.S. Senate: "We shall have world government whether or not you like it, by conquest or consent." This quest for world domination can be traced back to the creation of the "Illuminati", a secret society, in 1776. Their leader, Adam Weishaupt, wrote out the master plan to bring about the subjection of the whole human race to an oligarchy of Financiers. The word "Illuminati" is derived from Lucifer and means "holders of the light". As surprising as it may seems, the insignia of the Order of the Illuminati appears on the reverse side of U.S. one-dollar bills. The first time it appeared was in 1933, by order of U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt, at the beginning of the New Deal (the name given to Roosevelt's political reforms of that time). One can read at the base of the 13-story pyramid, the year 1776 (MDCCLXVI in Roman numerals). Most of the people think that it represents the date of the signing of the American Declaration of Independence, but it actually memorializes the foundation of the Order of the Illuminati, which was on May 1, 1776. (Note the Zionist-Communist May Day connection).

As stated a very dear Ben Franklin's friend and supporter (the patriarch Voltaire): 'All sect is an error flag. There are no sects in geometry'. The Illuminati is no more than just another lodge infiltrated and organized from above by the jesuit plague -to protect and to serve the vested interests of the largest fortune: the infamous vatican business.

@George: Yes, of course! It makes far more sense that the date would be celebrating the foundation of the illuminati, rather than something silly like the foundation of the country issuing the currency. The 13 steps probably have some sinister meaning too, they can't be some rubbish referring to the 13 colonies or anything. I really don't know how people like you sleep at night. Or, maybe you don't and sleep deprivation is the origin of your insanity?

the printing of our currency is owned by rothschild family... for those doubting what is on our money. we recently (look up on youtube politicians getting no answers and screaming) shipped 9 trillion dollars over to europ and added to our debt via centeral bank, and they do not have to answer to congress or anyone. why? because this was all planned, yall bitch about if it is real they will just steal your money wheather you believe them or not, and when we are to poor to even fight a war, we will die as the scape goats for their sick wars and sick oppression of other countrys into a credit system with controlled currency under either warburg or rothschild familys.

It didn't take the Illuminati long to hijack America, starting with Alexander Hamilton's establishing a central bank controlled by the Rothschilds.  Washington was a great general and an honorable man (he could have made himself king), but he was duped as are so many, like James Madison who would found the 2nd central bank after Jefferson refused to renew the charter of the first.  Andrew Jackson killed the central bank of his time condemning the banksters as "a den of vipers and thieves."

Washington DC is completely designed according to Masonic order.  The Masonic Temple is positioned on 13th Street.
