"The government, which was designed for the people, has got into
the hands of the bosses and their employers, the special interests.
An invisible empire has been set up above the forms of democracy."

Woodrow Wilson: probably one of the worst of our American presidents who became so enamored of Edith Galt that he behaved like a sop around her. Wilson allowed Edith to run the show after he married her.
 -- A. Jurgensen, Stuart, FL
This is true and has been for many decades but fear not my fellow countrymen. When we collectively decide to take our country back, and devise a plan to do so, harnessing the Personel Power of each Patriot, the rebirth of the American Republic, in the 2nd Revolution, will have begun.

How marvelously descriptive of the US in 2005...

Woodrow Wilson was apparently trying to be a wolf in sheep's clothing. He was one of the biggest global government politicians of his day. He moans about power in the hands of bosses and employers. He doesn't say he thinks that power should be in the hands of politicians like himself.
     -- Ken
-- Dick Trice, Fort Worth, TX
Wilson either hated himself or was just crafty enough to try to make himself not seem guilty of the very things he warned about.

We should not forget this quote made about the hidden powers, by Wilson. Wilson, like other Presidents, past and present, are nothing more than puppets of elitist New World Order Federalists. At least Wilson admitted his mistake, and spoke out about the conspirators and the danger they pose(d) to America. It is more than most of the other Presidents have done.  -- Sherwood, Espanola, NM
He must've deeply regretted the troubles he sewed into America. A good quote, more people should know about it.
     -- M. M., Chicago, Illinois
We must make examinations, analysis and negotiations to recover our humanity. This empire is not invisible, the population just tries avoid the mirror as much as possible.
     -- Fredrick William Sillik, Anytown
In the de jure States united, NO government was designed for the people. In the de jure State’s united a body politic was designed with inferior elected and hired servants to protect and enhance individual sovereignty, inalienable rights and liberty at “the law of nature and of nature’s God. An invisible empire has been set up above the forms of a representative republic (individual sovereignty, inalienable rights and liberty at nature’s law) and even democracy (2 wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for supper - freedom being a all armed lamb contesting the vote).
     -- Mike, Norwalk
