And that is EXACTLY what the Fed/IMF is doing with the baby boomer middle class -- oh, what a score! God Bless Amerika.

Hey! Don't forget the IRS and the Federal Government! They deserve some of the credit. And gullible, misinformed, self-interested American citizens deserve the rest of the credit for allowing the Leninization of the USA to happen!
 -- John-Douglas, Nassau

Life under Jimmy Carter! And what life under Clinton would have been like without the republican house, and the productivity increase cause by the PC and the internet. Democrats never met a tax they did not like and can't see a tax increase even as they shove it down your throat. And our population has been dumbed down by our socialist public schools they are too ignorant to recognize it and too dependant to want to change it. What the hell does the fed and IMF have to do with our taxes? And inflation is practically non-existent now, like unemployment. If you live in SF, there is your tax and inflation problem, talk about a communist dreamland.

Ditto helorat, Milton. Of course, Lennin was speaking of the upper class rather than the middle class. BTW: do you believe this man? Or was he only slyly consolidating his own power? Funny how our liberal brethren want to speak of the fantastic economy under WJC...not so without the Republican Congress dragging him kicking and screaming into a ballanced budget . Funny, they don't have too much to say on this quote. Guess its either early yet, or they are distressed their strategy has been outed. In all government programs, no matter how "compassionate" they sound, we simply must ask "At who's expense?" and then be prepared for the "Hater! Hater!, etc." condemnations. Better that than "pacifist" any day.

Welcome to Amerika, God bless the individual sovereigns and their personal republic representatives.

The United States was built on capitalism. There is nothing wrong with capitalism. There is no law requiring the rich to give away any of their wealth to the poor. Crushing those who produce makes the country poor. The rich pay a larger percent of their income than the poor do. The government thru the IRS is Robin Hood, robbing the rich to give to the poor. Theft is still criminal and wrong, as is socialism and communism.
 -- Joe, Rochester, MI

King George W has a new plan: crush them by taking from the poor and giving to the rich, while spending money we don't have by borrowing from other countries who we then label as "the enemy"... such a plan...

Focus your attention on the Fed -- they are the ones using this 'plank' of totalitarianism.

Communism is only seen as a bad thing if the person who believes it is bad is not fully confident in their manner of governing themselves. The weak pull the Communistic system down, thus the weak should be eliminated, deported, (or if given the chance would leave due to the disrespect of the all powerful system that takes a self righteous leader and puts this leader on a pedistool). Communism is Anarchy in an intelligent state. Revolution for this new system must be taken.
