I'm not up for either one. If someone or something is doing you wrong...it's time for some justice. If you are doing wrong...it's time for some justice.

I'm not quite sure of the comparison. With Carlton, "I'm not up for either one." :accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government,' Under such example, the quote fits.

    I understand Carlton's point -- but also Mike's.

Turning the other cheek, suffering wrong rightly, requires Grace.

Seems J Carlton missed the point.

" For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing. But the God of All Grace, who hath called us to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you." I Peter 3:17, 5:10. The pattern established long ago, never loose sight of your moral compass. It is a natural reassurance and presence of the hidden hand that conducts the affairs of men.
