"For the average American family, filling out a tax form has become like attacking a puzzle to which, often enough, there is no right answer. But we're all supposed to swear, on penalty of perjury, that we've done our best to find it."

The confusion caused by deception under threat of punishment is a handy tool to keep the sheep busy while their pockets are being picked.

Inane IRS jokes are no more funny than is Jeff Foxworthy jokes. You think you are suppose to laugh and therefore you do. Doing your tax return brings you face to face with your society and its law. And most of us find society and law to be absurd. This reaction is simply a childish unthinking one.

Waffler, you oopsed. Doing a return does not represent my tax or my anything. Doing a return represents theft at the end of a gun. Doing a tax return does not bring me face to face with my society or law. Doing a tax return brings me face to face with foreign (by its own declaration) despots perpetrating an unlawful theft by the rule of gun. Waffler, can you answer an observation? I've noticed that liberals and others that can't see life without compelled compliance, license, victimless crimes, governmental larceny, despotism, etc. seem to call those that want to live life without such, childish. Why is that?

How anyone could defend such an obviously corrupt and deceptive system as the Internal Revenue Service can only indicate an alliance with them. Note also that Waffler equates himself with the 'adult' and those that challenge the IRS as childish -- another indication that he sees himself as above the rest of us and even an authority over us. Collectivism is more fun when you have a position within it to dictate to others. Fess up, Waffler.

Growing up Mikey for most people is to learn that you live in a world of others. A lesson you obviously have never learned. Your list of things you hate can all be summed up in one word LAW. It is a value system judgement but some grow up to love law and wish to follow it. As Jesus said he came not to abolish law but to live by every word of the law and the prophets. Now that is being grown up! I repeat the jokesters and those that sell books about how to beat the law are making a killing off of childish people who listen to them and buy their books.

WOW Waffler, exceeding lol while shaking my head, you mis-state what Jesus said as much as you mess up everything else you say. As to your living in a world of others, where were you when I was recently filling sand bags for flood victims? (Oh, New Orleans) And too funny, I go to New Orleans almost on a weekly basis for a couple of years to help Katrina clean up and you wait for 3 years so you can go to New Orleans to drink beer and listen to Jazz. You're right, we have a whole definition difference between childish and living in the world with others. FYI, rule of gun does not equate to rule of LAW. It is made very clear by our words and actions who loves our fellow men and rule of law as is averse to rule of gun. P.S. remember when you were paying for more cops to go down to New Orleans while I was there cleaning up? That picture is more than a thousand worlds; your society is rule by gun, my society is rule of law, as expressed: "love thy neighbour as thy self" (a real Jesus quote)

Waffler you are such a well trained idiot. The tax forms are designed to confuse so that you can't question them.
