"It's gotten to where defense attorneys in federal drug cases
can do their clients about as much good as Dr. Kevorkian can
do his -- quietly shepherd them through to the least painful end."

About right. With such corrupt attorneys, judges, courts and system, justice has little to no chance.

The entire process is filled to the brim with hypocrisy. Especially when we consider the drug gang leaders socializing with politicians, American law enforcement supplying them with all forms of fire power, and the complicity of AG Holder himself. I don't know which is worse, the violent drug gangs that wouldn't exist with legalization, the law enforcement personnel on the take or selectively enforcing the ridiculous laws, or the system of politicians and bureaucrats that make it all possible, The whole thing added up is about as sick as it gets.
