I guess that is one motivating factor, It is by personal experience; following the teachings of Jesus the Christ develops traits that would be found the most respectable (knowing that everyone sins, commits transgressions and iniquities - in following such teachings, corporeal man would find minimal acts to be ashamed of) Respectability seems to be a measurement from the outside-in while shame seems to be a self assessment from the inside-out. Both terms are juxtaposed with only a narrow combination of compatibility.

A very, learned statement, Mike. One of the most profound points of trait, of, the mind of, The Christ. Ernest of inheritance, to be closely observed and watched for, within individuals. As are many other traits of Christ, that can be expounded upon. For we are not ashamed of the Liberty wherewith Christ has made us Free Indeed ! To be called on Christ behalf, is each individuals Responsibility to personal ministry. For association is through testimony, not of fleshly works at first. The outworking of the Spirit of Truth. Then faith unfeign toward ones neighbor. The gifts and calling of God are without repentance. As a Leopard by the wayside he observes. Respectability is earned through humility when ceasing from strife, this brings honor. The tribulation of affliction, brings patience deserved, and shows forth the tempering by the Spirit, and of time well spent. We seek not, our own glory. But only to do the job, called to do. The testimonies of the Lord are very sure ! It is an honor given by God, to be found faithful, to be placed in the Ministry, of his choice. Faith in Amen, Amen
