"We must now face the harsh truth that the objectives of communism are being steadily advanced because many of us do not recognize the means used to advance them. ... The individual is handicapped by coming face to face with a Conspiracy so monstrous he cannot believe it exists. The American mind simply has not come to a realization of the evil which has been introduced into our midst."

As for the last sentence of this quote,I think it may have been true in 1956 but it is not true in 2008.I would also replace the word "communism" with the word "tyranny" as a more appropriate contemporary term. When You Change The Way You Look At Things,The Things You Look At Change.

Hoover was a lousy analyst. He failed to understand the strength, power and moral might of American society. Just two of its greatest inventions, rock and roll and the personal computer, were more than sufficient to sink the soviet empire. The subversion we now need to be concerned with is the subversion of our language for narrow political purposes. Like the words "sovereign" and "republic".

52 years later and the American mind still does not realize. In time reality will hit with full force and though many will fight and die many will run and cower in fear. Call it "communism" or "tyranny" or "democracy" or whatever you want to call it. What Hoover was talking about then still exists today and is known as pure evil.

The fall of the Soviets reduced the perceived communist threat. This only makes us that much more vulnerable.

I don't understand your question Mike? Personally I think I have always or often seen the light. I enhanced my intuitive understanding of the light just now by looking up the official name of the USA. It is not American Republic, States United or any other such deviant and subversve handle. The Articles of Confederation state "The Stile of this Confederacy shall be "The Unted States of America" That is good enough for me. Those who wish to add to, change that Stile in any way (such as Amerian Republic) are to me being untrue to the founders and are trying to subvert the Articles and the Cosntitution. As far as the term "sovereign" its' dictionary meaning is one having absolute authority. Historically the only way one could lose it was by the cutting off of his head. One cannot have absolute authority and temporarily lose it and then take it back. It is my belief that the term "sovereign individual" is a subversion of the dictionary and of decent politcal discussion. Subversion comes in many forms.

Lenin said that communism must be built with non communist hands. America has over 1/4 billion non communists, Bverfore we lost 110,000 of our best in Asia under the preext of "halting commnist expansion" bankers. lawyers, judges, journalists, tax preparers et al. wre enforcing all ten planks of Marx's Communist Manifesto HERE with real estate, income and inheritance taxes being the first three, plank # five saddled us with the Federal Reserve and the Girl Scouts promote #8 that calls for the "equal liability of all to labor" which means that women should do all of the work that men do including military. If the Equal Rights amendment is ever ratified, women will have the same right to avoid the draft that men have which is NONE. The U.S. Chamber of Commerce deserves the most credit for communizing America, after those who created the Federal Reserve. See: www.morpix.biz/cofc 4th from bottom.

Communism was funded by Wall Street. Just like today's neo-fascism embraced by both Democrats and Republicans alike. Each party is controlled by the Council on Foreign Relations and the massive budgets of government contractors. Money is the creed, and power is the idol. The American people have been 'educated' to believe that the government's power is absolute -- all they have to do is vote for it, and it is done, or the President can simply make an Executive Order to override any and all Constitutional barriers to despotism. Those who aim to take over the US government and thus the American people have infiltrated every department of government. Our Consitution is mute and without a constituency -- they know that. The rest of us think we actually 'elect' our leaders -- hogwash! Are you an elector? Well, why the hell not?! Your vote is just an opinion poll -- and your opinon has been given to you. But as addicts to free lunch and free credit, we are 100% to blame for being so irresponsible and cowardly. Americans can be compared with the German people as Nazism (national socialist democracy) rose to power -- we are doing all the same things and are as ignorant as the Germans were. The war against Islam is a rouse -- if we were really concerned we would blow them to kingdom come and be done with it -- but there is more profit in "the long war" than in one big bomb to end it all. It worked in Nagasaki. Our leaders are beholden to their bank books -- they do not care about you. And contrary to popular belief, there is a LOT of money to be made in Communism -- it is nothing less than the left of an entire nation. I bet there is not one person in 100,000 in America who is not in debt and owns their property outright. We the People are bankrupt and living on borrowed time...

Marx attempted to interpret history. He said that feudalism (a society in which you are somebody if your daddy was somebody) was improved upon by capitalism (a society in which your are somebody if your daddy had money or in which you are able to amass money on your own). He then "prophesied" that an improvement over capitalism would be where many people had money or ownership rather than just a few. He detested Russia and agrarian societies as still being in essence feudal. I know little more about the subject than that. His apparent efforts to force economic evolution through violence, thought control (anti religion) and propaganda is a sad history. If his analysis of the economic evolution of the past and prophecy of the future are correct no violence or tyranny or subversion is needed. Some scholars have said just that, that the October Revolution in Russia was just a fraud and grap for power by wicked, perverted men. It was not a natural evolution of econmics. Whether or not you think economics should evolve toward a greater distribution of wealth and ownership or back towards a lesser degree of distribution and back to fedualism is well I guess a part of ones personal value system. It has been shown that micro loans to poverty stricken people has been effective in getting economic engines working in places like Bangladesh etcetera.

There have been several waves (some more intense than others) of socialism (communism, fascism, woke, etc.) directed at the States united. The founders rejected Europe's initial indoctrination in favor of an experiment to secure individual sovereignty, inalienable rights and liberty at law. In the early 1800s Germany developed a PhD status for academia. Socialism was part of the required curriculum. Then differing socialist affiliations paid for the most promising professors of ivy-league colleges, mostly focusing on the north. (about this time U.K. groups also paid for U.S. academics to study in Germany).

Such influence on academia and politicians was a prime causation of the War Between the States. There were no local policing offices in the de jure States united prior to the War Between the States except for a few experiments (New York, Philadelphia, Boston and Atlanta by example). We The People feared a local military enforcing the will of a distant few. Sheriffs were to be the head executive as agents of justice (NOT law enforcement). After the War between the States, local military (police) were established to enforce the socialist based anti-freedom laws of tyrants tyranny.

President Wilson, with his socialist minions implemented the 2nd plank of the communist manifesto, funny money / debt notes, and the ground work for the — to come Social Security. Rosevelt implemented a replacement mindset of the individual being responsible for caring for one's own existence to relying on the new god — government. I could go on and on and on etc. but, suffice it to saw - the wars that the U.S. has participated in were not for what they were advertised. The new Woke theology is just another socialist face to extinguish individual sovereignty, inalienable rights and liberty at law.

Communism is simply not evil. It is just the practical individual coming to terms with the reality of existence. Reason is employed to properly observe the perceived problems, and reason, again, is employed to solve those problems. Pure art and science.
