Our government has stolen most of our liberties since "The New Deal", though only the politicians got a deal. Today, government can get away with simply saying a citizen "could be" a terrorist to remove your liberty.

Absolutely; for example: license. A license is: "A right given by some competent authority to do an act, which without such authority would be illegal." (Bouvier's Law Dictionary) Within the de jure States united, the individual sovereign with inalienable right at liberty united in a body politice - complete with servants to administer those rights and liberty of the masters. That body politic of servants became a carnal god / inorganic phantasm with claim that all rights were inherent by means of force (liberty became a vain claimed antiquity of the past). Where marriage was once a religious sacrament at liberty and freedom of religion, the carnal god/competent authority denied liberty by making the religious right illegal and issued licenses to participate in such illegality without threat of prosecution. Business was once at liberty and by 'right' legal for individual sovereigns to participate in - no longer. The carnal god / competent authority has made business illegal, requiring license. Further, politically correct victimless crimes are continually increasing to deny more and more liberty.
