It's so true! It seems the first thing we are on the lookout for is the bad, the corruption, the evil.

Especially of those, in high public office. I think the facts speak for themselves. Why would someone spend 14 mil. on advertising alone, for a public office that pays around 200,000 for three years?

(-; John, yep - great example of the quote and the allure of OPM (other people's money) power, and control. ;-)

I know, huh? ;-) It is understandable because children are basically institutionalized from early on -- and the state is trying to get to them even sooner now. Being exposed to church and/or state propaganda 6 hours a day, 5-6 days a week, for 12-16 years is tough conditioning to break -- not to mention the several hours of TV most get every day of their lives. Anyone who is devoutly behind their religious or political party will not give up on their programming easily. The truth is abundant in supply but short in demand. Fantasy and illusion hold many pleasures, while reality holds many responsibilities. Is it so surprising that the truth shocks people?

I suppose if you have a habit of being deceitful an honest man really is a slap in the face. It makes the deceitful man face the truth that it is not necessary to lie to be successful in this world. In fact the honest life is the easy life.

Honesty to stand with thee, charity to walk with thee. Charity faunteth not itself, does not behave itself unseemly. Esteems others better than themselves. Humility before honor. KJB. If all we have is hope we are of most men most miserable.

Honesty and reality are treated though they are the enemy for any disclosure of such means work and action and as we know American's are not that interested in either. As long as they have WalMart, their fast food, their Malls, TV, GlennBeck, Fox Entertainment, ESPN, and their toys, they are happy and contened.

"You want the truth? You can't handle the truth!" -- Jack Nicholson in his role as a Marine Colonel in the movie "A Few Good Men." Why is this quote one of the most famous right next to "Frankly, Charlotte, I don't give a damn." The only reason people are shocked by the truth or by honesty is that they have been in denial and refuse to face reality until someone pushes it right in their face. This tendency for people to deny the truth makes it possible for people like Musolini, Hitler, Woodrow Wilson, FDR, Chaves, and Obama to rise to positions of so much power.

GunnyGee, by you rhetoric you must be a Tea Party member - no intelligence just hate without any substance. This tendency for people to deny the truth makes it possible for people like Bush who stole the election to rise to the position of power, and the Limbaugh's, Becks, and Palin to have a platform to spew their hate and divisiveness.

Anonymous, when talking about integrity or deceit in voting, what are your thoughts on the 108% that went to Mr. Obamunist Goodwrench the assasign, while 0.00% went to Romney in Philadelphia? As to no intelligence, and hate with no substance, how about those progressives that believe everything the Clinton News Network (CNN) propagates? What do you think of Hitlery that prefers to lie even when the truth would be better? ETC.

More true today than at any other time.... It's amazing how people get angry when they hear the truth... Often, the truth is put aside for selfish reasons and those same people turn a blind eye to the criminal activities of their masters. "Mad dogs and an Englishmen go out in the mid-day sun"

From a grass roots level, more so today than ever before. Toys dwindle, leaving only their basic needs to occupy themselves. Disgruntled minds seeking to fill the void of ignorance. Teach them well, sound doctrines of truth, love and honesty.

It's amazing to me that we have sunk so low that a large number of people will vote for Hillary. She being the lying criminal that she is.

Jim K., you are living right there in Hillary town just like Archer is in NYC. Good to hear that there are at least two like yourselves with some common sense coming from those cities.
