Great Borg / socialist concept. If the one does not exist in liberty, the all can not. Liberty is inherent and inalienable in the individual (individually and in concert) It would be more accurate to say, if liberty were denied to any one, it would be denied to all.

Mike, I agree. If the individual is not free, all also cannot be free. How can the embodiment of citizens posses a right when a single individual does not? In politics, there is no such thing as "all", because there will never be a time when everyone aligns themselves to one belief or agenda no matter what the issue is. What "all" actually means is majority. What the majority wants is regarded as what everyone wants. That is a democracy. But America was not founded as a democracy that is swayed by the interest of an oppressive and overbearing majority. America is a Republic, founded with the purpose of establishing justice and securing the blessings of liberty to each and every INDIVIDUAL.

Maybe I'm reading this wrong but might he not be suggesting that each and every individual is entitled to liberty? Which I would qualify with "civil" Liberty. I checked the link (click on the name Herbert Spencer above) and he generally seems to be an advocate for Freedom and Liberty.

Freedom is a earned credential. Freedom differs in its extend, scope, vastness, and depth. Freedom differs with the individual's determination and dedication to persevere. Freedom is not a right. But the generous do pass on their credentials and earn even more qualified credentials freeing themselves ever more as a result of their generous nature. Freedom is much similar to education for only "the educated are free."

Sillik, one reason you are a socialist is that you hate freedom, liberty and inalienable rights at law so vehemently, you can only follow admonitions of your god(s) — by example: "a lie told often enough becomes the truth" (Lenin). You continue to make up circular word salad to redefine words, terms and concepts.

FREEDOM is: “The state of being free; liberty; self determination:” (Black’s Law Dictionary 1st Edition); freedom is: “the power or liberty to order one's own actions” (Colins English Dictionary); freedom is: “The ability to act at liberty.” (Webster’s Dictionary) “All men by nature are equal in that equal right that every man hath to his natural freedom, without being subjected to the will or authority of any other man; being all equal and independent, no one ought to harm another in his life, health, liberty or possessions.” (John Locke) “Freedom means the supremacy of human rights everywhere.” (Franklin D. Roosevelt) “Freedom is independence of the compulsory will of another, and in so far as it tends to exist with the freedom of all according to a universal law, it is the one sole original inborn right belonging to every man in virtue of his humanity.” (Immanuel Kant) Freedom is an endowed expression from an inherent creation; NOT ! an abstract ethos based / outside-in to-be-controlled anomaly.

LIBERTY is; “The power of acting as one thinks fit, without any restraint or control, except from the laws of nature.” (Bouvier’s Law Dictionary) Liberty is the “exemption from extraneous control. The power of the will, in its moral freedom, to follow the dictates of its unrestricted choice, and to direct the external acts of the individual without restraint, coercion, or control from other persons. Liberty is the right which nature gives to all mankind of disposing of their persons and property after the manner they judge most consistent with their happiness, on condition of their acting within the limits of the law of nature, and so as not to interfere with an equal exercise of the same rights by other men.” (Black’s Law Dictionary 1st ed.). Clarifying original fact, nature’s law intent, and de jure jurisprudence: liberty is; “The condition of being free from confinement, servitude, or forced labor.” (American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language, Fifth Edition.) “Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law,' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.” (Thomas Jefferson) “The Natural Liberty of Man is to be free from any Superior Power on Earth, and not to be under the Will or Legislative Authority of Man, but to have only the Law of Nature for his Rule.” (John Locke - second most quoted source for creation of the Constitution) “Personal liberty, or the Right to enjoyment of life and liberty, is one of the fundamental or natural Rights, which has been protected by its inclusion as a guarantee in the various constitutions, which is not derived from, or dependent on, the U.S. Constitution, which may not be submitted to a vote and may not depend on the outcome of an election. It is one of the most sacred and valuable Rights, as sacred as the Right to private property ⋯ and is regarded as inalienable.” (16 C.J.S., Constitutional Law, Sect.202, p.987). Liberty, under “the laws of nature and of nature’s God” (Declaration of Independence) – nature’s law, is the state of exercising all inalienable rights. “All men are created equally free and independent, and have certain inherent rights, of which they cannot, by any compact, deprive or divest their posterity; among which are the enjoyment of life and liberty, with the means of acquiring and possessing property, and pursuing the obtaining of happiness and safety.” (George Mason) “So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.” (James 2:12) For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.” (Galatians 5:16) “Where liberty is, there is my country” (Benjamin Franklin).

A “right”; is an eternally actionable warrant that, intrinsically facilitates a most base particle’s just mechanics and/or performance. Right(s) is an inherent, inviolate, just and omnipresent component / factor / attribute, composing matter’s structure of expression - bonding / sealing the “be” to the “be” and to the “do” (law existing as the ultimate and final definition: “do”). Right(s) is/are an intricate constituent in/at matter’s ability to self express (without right(s), matter of any size or configuration could not express itself). Expanded to organized matter (the Eternal King’s priesthood creation), a right is a single being’s just ability to commit any act that does not infringe on another’s right or justice. Though differing particles may vary or not conform, the “right(s)” intrinsic thereto remains the same.

Most simply, nature’s law (the do) expresses matter’s (the be) elocutions. Freedom and liberty are definitions at law and rights are more closely associated with justice (none can be earned - THEY JUST ARE ! ! !

Mike,, Norwalk, I don't hate.  Adults accept explanations and provide them with every circumstance. The law of growth, however, tells me demanding one's rights with an immature regressive childlike mentality is going to be pure futility at best.  Your posting practices support this supposition with each and every one of your posting's presentations.

Sillik, your deep down, core hate and anger derive from your extremely antagonistic definitions and perceptions of freedom, liberty, rights and nature's law. Your theocratic socialism's dogmas fallaciously proclaim and declare circular word salad to be something other than what in fact, it/they is/are. You rely on mental deceptions (mental disorder / illness, empty, without merit or substance - without fact or proof) of a low IQ / very immature child (the pot calling the kettle black). The norm of your theocratic socialism’s dogma exists by calling evil good, and good evil; putting darkness for light, and light for darkness; and, putting bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter.

By example: you state: “Adults accept explanations and provide them with every circumstance.” As an adult, my explanation gave an accurate definition at law and historical society’s use of freedom, liberty and right. As a mentally immature brat, you could not accept a grown-up world’s explanation, meaning, understanding or concept (AND/OR, provide a rational circumstance). You continue to have to redefine words and concepts to support your most recent lie (VERY immature). Your hallucinatory law of growth (??? NOT definable in the real world) talked to you and told you a fiction of rights and that anything outside your delusion was regressive. You really might want to check your medications or, at lest those little voices in your head.

Mike,, Norwalk, despite your total disregard for the importance of words and language, words and language are the most important characteristic product of our species as well as life itself. Proper communication is the ultimate.

Sillik, WHAT ? ? ? (I smile {almost audible 🤣 hahaha  lololol} shaking my lowered head in disbelief.) You jumped from one of your socialist gods (Lenin) to another, (Goebbels) who said: “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it." It is YOU who have a "total disregard for the importance of words and language". I gave socially acceptable, time proven / used and lawful definitions; AND because, proper communication is an ultimate element in exchanging ideas and concepts, words, concepts and understandings have certain static meanings. It is YOU that childishly can NOT accept the importance of words and language. Depending on the changing circumstance, your lying changes the meaning of words in language. Very, VERY immature.

Mike, I don't think 'THE Socialist' is ever going to get it, nor does he want to.  He's merely the devil's advocate  it's the only reason he is here.  Never rates a quote, never agrees with classic philosophers or founding fathers  calls them delusional.  I used to feel sorry for him, even tried to engage with him in simple terms, but he defends his delusion with words he has no idea of the meaning.  Most likely he is posting from a mental institution living off government subsidy  he so often has to tell us what mentally ill is that he must be closely associated with psychologists and mental health practitioners daily.  He doesn't even call himself a socialist, he calls himself "THE" socialist and that no one has ever known his version of socialism (including himself, I would wager).  Yet everything he professes is straight-up authoritarian, progressive liberal hypocrisy.

I don't know who is more insane, Fred or you and I for even trying to navigate his mental mine field. ;-)

🤣 Archer, way too accurate there 🤣. Sillik's holding to a delusional religious dogma without static, legal, conceptual, scientific, historical or any proof / facts is a lot ill. His descriptive god state, supported by circular word salad doesn't really give much room to navigate a substantive conversation. 😁
