"[I]n America it is the so-called capitalist who is to blame for the fulfillment of Marx's prophecies. Beguiled by the state's siren song of special privilege, the capitalists have abandoned capitalism."

Accurate, in Amerika (and the world for that matter), the so-called capitalist is in fact, not a capitalist. That which now passes as capitalism is in fact, a regulatory order of criminal acts against fiscal law, premised on a system of anti-individual sovereignty, non-allodial ownership, funny money, and larceny by an elitist caste.

There are shades of Capitalism, just as there are shades of Socialism. I'm not a fan of our current hue.

Yes, but what can we do about it but to elect those few who may do something ? I fear that Wisconson is but the first of many shoes to drop before entitlements go the same way, regardless of merit, contribution levels, etc. I would love to see Bush be extradited from Paraguay instead of just being threatened by the Swiss for war crimes trial. Does he really have his own personal military protection force (like Petraeus and the ISAF..used to be NATO, coalition of the willing, etc.) and airstrip with 500 troops on the ground?

Sinse the time of Hamilton and his "Central Bank" there has been no real free market, no real free enterprise and no real capitalism. The Corporatism now present in America was solidified in 1913 when the falsely named Federal Reserve was sort of ratified as the controlloing entity of all things economic. And the system has rotted from within until it is about to collapse under the weight of corruption we have been carrying and participating in for a very long time.

I would like to see the efforts of those who 'think' be put to use here. Each time we are met with one of these brilliant quotes, it would be wonderful to see at least one suggestion about how to turn the horse around that we are riding over the cliff on as a nation. Surely out of all the brilliant minds that read this, there is one person with a mind that can come up with with a solution. We are seeking a statesman who cares about the nation, however, we are only getting politicians....suggestions?

Anonymous, the courts are corrupt beyond repair so, trying to use them is like going into the belly of the beast only to get eaten by the juices. There is no Constitutional, law, or individual sovereign right recognition in any court in the land. I have met with local individuals who get very involved taking turns visiting city and county personnel as well as state and federal officials. I've also helped to write legislation. I volunteer and try and spread the word. There is nothing more to do in my estimation except a grass roots effort. Every awake free man needs, with honor and civility, warn and educate everyone they can. Possibly right now, go viral on the net and start a movement to start drilling for oil in the domestic US (we have more oil reserves than the rest of the world) - put pressure on State and Federal officials to promote domestic energy. I don't think there is a catch all for helping. Each individual has his / her own talents and circumstances for coming up with solutions.

Thank you, Mike, and you know that there are just those grass roots groups working to do the things you have suggested. It is frustrating. The apathy we witness is the most disturbing of all. So basically, in your opinion, those of us who actually care that we have a republic that is being run over by a bus need to continue slogging away to right this wrong. I appreciate your answer. I am doing so daily. Sadly, I am often met with resistance...for many people want to be 'happy' and not educated. It seems momentary happiness is more important than long term freedom to some. I however, will stand with you and work towards restoration. Pray we are successful.
