James Dale Davidson is exactly right. Not only will workers be "worn down by taxes...dependent and helpless", but they will be uncreative. Waffler, a question for you. Since I personally, nor any freedom loving sovereign, nor anyone that would claim a representative republic or the original Constitution as his definition of his government have no government, what debt are we to man up to? There is an unconstitutional, anti-lawful, and usurping statist theocracy infesting this land, that uses funny money (that is only debt) as a controlling tool that can not be paid back. (note / by way of example: at the start of the funny money, there was no money. Then, an intangible concept of no substance as a foreign supported monopoly of force, created debt out of thin air and then lent the debt at interest to captive helots, serfs, and otherwise slaves.) Even if the lent debt could be paid back in full, where is the interest on the debt going to come from?
