History has to be taught on "what's important" — WHAT? ? ? In school, history class was taught as 'Social Studies' — why the change in terminology?  American History is no longer a required subject in High School, nor do colleges seem to care.  Americans are taught that the USA is a democracy — it is not, never was.  As a result, the government has been able to usurp the sovereign powers of the People.  Declaring states of emergency indefinitely in order to enforce unlawful dictates has become a racket — everybody wants in on the act.  Chicken Little and Henny Penny are running for president, and apparently won.  Is there nothing Americans won't fall for any more?  -- E Archer, NYC
