If the current courts would allow the proper information to geyt to the juries, mant a man or woman would be given thier liberty. All to often, thier unjust rules, cause exclusion of facts to the jury. returning to simpler times would be refreshing.

There is a major difference between law and justice. Justice is for maintaining a civil society. Law is for control and empowerment.

You are so right J Carlton. Congress has passed many laws they force us to obey while exempting themselves from those laws. Seems as though we are their servants.

It's called Jury Nullification, no judge will mention it to a jury and half,or more, of the lawyers never heard of it.

Thomas Jefferson understood it in the beginning: "The spirit of the times may alter, will alter. Our rulers will become corrupt, our people careless. A single zealot may become persecutor, and better men be his victims. It can never be too often repeated that the time for fixing every essential right, on a legal basis, is while our rulers are honest, ourselves united. From the conclusion of this war we shall be going down hill. It will not then be necessary to resort every moment to the people for support. They will be forgotten, therefore, and their rights disregarded. They will forget themselves in the sole faculty of making money, and will never think of uniting to effect a due respect for their rights. The shackles, therefore, which shall not be knocked off at the conclusion of this war, will be heavier and heavier, till our rights shall revive or expire in a convulsion."

When the law is unjust and violates the U.S. Constitution it is then mute and the jury should rule against it.
