"It is suggested that the solution lies in the United Nations Security Council. It is interesting to note that each solution it achieves invariably results either in the country involved going communist or vast territories being turned to communist-type socialism. The United Nations is the great Trojan horse within our gates, and we can hope for absolutely no help from that quarter, especially while it promotes and arranges finances, encouragement, and prestige to dissenting groups involved in so-called liberation movements of terrorist revolutionary groups."

Obviously this guy and Jim above never heard of the United Nations war against North Korea. The UN command included US, Turks, Thais, Brits, and South Koreans. United Nations troops including many from India have performed useful services around the world. It is just right wing types that have no reason for existence unless they are attacking something or other who choose to make a perennial whipping boy of the UN.

Yeah, Waffler, and North Korea is still going strong isn't it? Remind me again how many lives have been lost in this constant war? Eisenhower and other generals had plenty of opportunities to finish the job, but were kept from it. It is much more profitable to keep wars going than to actually win them. Just look at Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, etc.. At the UN an American can never be Secretary General and Russia must always command the UN military forces -- that is in the charter. If we had kept the UN out of it, we would have defeated the Communists in Korea and Vietnam. War is a Racket, and the UN is a war organization.

South Korea is going stronger, in case you have not heard! Their was never a mandate to "finish" the war. The American mission was to protect the South from the Northern aggressor, not to take over the entire penninsula. And that is what we did. Your history is srewed up Archer. I served in Korea from '65 to '66.

"I wouldn't go to war again as I have done to protect some lousy investment of the bankers. There are only two things we should fight for. One is the defense of our homes and the other is the Bill of Rights. War for any other reason is simply a racket." -- Major General Smedley Darlington Butler. Just the fact that Waffler served in Korea a decade after the 'police action' ended just goes to show the racket that war is and that the UN promotes. Secondly, these 'wars' were not lawfully declared by Congress as required by the Constitution to prevent Presidents from making war with other nations without a declaration of war by Congress. By ignoring the rule book our government is to follow, we have enabled a seat of arbitrary power in the Executive who can wage any war he wishes without a declaration of war. Again, the UN organization is an attempt to make the US a servile member of a totalitarian world government. I find it interesting that communist North Korea calls itself the 'Democratic People's Republic of Korea' -- chaulk another one up for 'democracy', for democracy without respect for individual rights to life, liberty, and property will ultimately fall to totalitarian government.

The UN is a great Trojan horse idolized by the immoral, the ignorant, and all others that hate the Law of Nature's God, justice, freedom, and liberty..

The UN ensures that there will never be another war that is truly won by any country. It only ensures that there will be perpetual war, besides perpetual poverty, and perpetual enslavement. When you have right and wrong decided by a body that is made up of a collection of mad dictators, fascists, communists, power hungry thieves and various other thugs, what else could you expect.
