"The party ... must not become a servant of the masses, but their master. ... The unity of a nation's spirit and will are worth far more than the freedom of the spirit and will of an individual; and that the higher interests involved in the life of the whole must here set the limits and lay down the duties of the interests of the individual."

I swear a slight variation on this quote could be attributable to Barack Obama and the progressive statists as their ideologies are definitely in sync.

Editor, I'm trying to make a donation but where do I put the State ? It keeps asking me for a Canadian province.

Hey, jim k! On the donation page, change the Country to United States at the top. Then wait a moment, and the form will show the State field. Thanks!

It's that way here. I remember having to carry a draft card "in the spirit of the state. "

Welcome to Amerika ! A hmmmm moment, was it Hitler or Hitlery that offered such concept? The criminals of the occupying statist theocracy infesting this land have exposed the "ONE" party (2 major enclaves thereof - inclusive of the ecclesiastical propagation malefactors / media) master's higher interests; that being, carnal gods over chattel slaves. The totalitarian gods (previous servants that had no 'rights' but only 'duties' to administer individual sovereign rights) have set limits on their/its chattel - namely compelled compliance, victimless crimes, government licenses, larceny with impunity (2nd plank of the communist manifesto, police state confiscations, funny money, etc.), alienation of nature's endowed rights, and all other forms of demonic tyranny. The non sequitur or, the fallacy resulting from a simple conversion of a universal affirmative proposition - all men being created equal before the law and, from the transposition of individual sovereigns condition to the consequence of slaves, the statist theocracy has positioned its higher interests to all but extinguish freedom of the spirit and will of the individual.

This is the establishment politician's dogma, whether on the left or the right. Democrats have become so conned that the party of peace now incites wars and violence. I mean, hasn't Russia always been the friend of socialists? Why now does Hillary incite war against them? The hypocrisy of American parties smells to high heaven -- all the rest of the world can see it as plain as day.

BUT Americans are waking up -- Trump is proof. Watching the political parties squirm as Americans repudiate party politics and politically correct 'everything' is exciting. Americans are trying to throw the bums out, but the bums have control of the electronic ballot boxes with no paper trail. If we wanted fair and accurate elections, we would use the same techniques a BANK uses -- can you imagine a bank that allowed you to make deposits without keeping a paper trail of the transactions? Give me a break -- this is out and out election fraud, and it's been going on for a while now.

Sillik, being more of a Marxist purist, it is obvious you are not enthralled by the messenger BUT, his socialist message fits perfectly with your theocratic dogma. Personally, I'm anti-socialist  I am for "freedom of the spirit and will of an individual;".

This quote is not correct.  For the people not to perish it must rely on the independent individual visionary. The group has not historically appreciated the "essential" change force of history.

I was wondering if the quote is genuine . Can you inform me further as to where exactly it comes from ?

Altered quote without context full quote here .
It is thus necessary that the individual should finally come to realize that his own pride is of no importance in comparison with the existence of his nation; that the position of the individual ego is conditioned solely by the interests of the nation as a whole; that pride and conceitedness, the feeling that the individual ... is superior, so far from being merely laughable, involve great dangers for the existence of the community that is a nation; that above all the unity of a nation’s spirit and will are worth far more than the freedom of the spirit and the will of an individual; and that the higher interests involved in the life of the whole must here set the limits and lay down the duties of interests of the individual. ... By this we understand only the individual's capacity to make sacrifices for the community, for his fellow men. ”

I have to admit, sir, I don't know much about this fellow. Elected world high officials all sound the same to me. They all seem to be same be what their constituents make them. Statements, on the other hand, lead us to a justified life.
