Fascism is only to the right of Communism — both are authoritarian and Leftist.  True Liberalism is at the top, authoritarianism is at the bottom.  To the right of leftism is Republicanism, rule of law, not men, not pure democracy but representative republicanism.  Remember that the Nazis were 'nationalist socialist democrats' with Russian communism as their enemy, but they were still socialist democrats which eventually led to voting for dictatorship.  -- E Archer, NYC      1 1
Fascism (so-called right wing) and Communism/socialism (so-called left wing) aren't opposites — they're forms of the same horrible beast called TOTAL GOVERNMENT.  The true indicator of free vs tyrannical governments is a straight line, with total government (fascism, socialism, communism, etc.) on the Left side, and no government (anarchy) on the Right.
