Often called the intellectual godfather of Amerikan neoconservatism, Leo Strauss, through his devotees, has implanted a policy of always needing a foe (real or made up - per the norm, made up gets a much better spin) to get done what you want. The "A" from Reston, you are also allowed to move to China with your devout comrades. J Carlton and jim are correct in their assetions that China is becoming more free while Amerika is legislating freedom out of existence. Those that forget or ignore history are doomed to relive it. Why is it that you promote a most represive despotism on the once land of the free and home of the brave? Compelled compliance, license, victimless crimes, larceny (income tax, SS, funny money, etc.), government torture and assassination, a statist theocracy's entitlements, lack of recognition of God endowed inalienable rights, centralized government, no personal property ownership, etc., etc., etc. is where Amerika keeps delving deeper while China is retreating from. Restore America, vote for Ron Paul. If you are not a registerd republican plese become one. After the primary, you can switch back, but Ron Paul needs your vote in the primary in your state. You must do it soon as different states have different time limits prior to voting. Once you have voted you can change back to Independent or declines to state or democrat...but we are unable to get him on the ballot unless you take this step to save our nation from complete ruin. -- Abby
