    Americans do fear their government, and they have been disarmed -- in more ways than just banning guns. In truth, the US Constitution is mute and without a constituency. We are a shadow of the Republic we were supposed to be. We are a bankrupted nation, and every political move now is to remove every limit to power the Constitution ever placed on government. Just pay attention to all the bills before Congress today. It is a crying shame. And an armed revolution isn't going to save us -- our country was stolen by lies and deception, and we will have to take it back with the only weapon that can do the job -- the Truth.

Archer's reference to Switzerland in another post makes the most convincing argument for the ownership of weapons by the populace at large. After the war, some politicians feared veterans might become violent and started a registry and restrictions on carry rights. After WWII, the restrictions were expanded as was the registration requirement. It always sounded at least somewhat reasonable, and always accompanied with the disclaimer that the registry would never be used for confiscation.     Oh my, its like this. 1st the United States Constitution can not be rewrote! However if you know the law every state has a Constitution that is called the State Constitution. Now, every state can add bills are attachments to thers Constitution.That is where people are getting thangs confused. As someone that believes in her country and knows the laws of the land has this to say. Unless you do your homework and learn what all of aleast the 1st 10 Presedent's has do for our country. Oh and learn the meaning and how to read it correctly. You will never realize how important everything that have done when it comes to the laws of United States and there laws apply to you each and every day. When you realize that, you will see how much these laws peotect you. I also know times have changed and some of the State Constitution laws need to change with the time in present but I believe the US Constitution should never change. It is there to protect us and I dont know about you but I like the right to carry a gun and God knows I love the right of free speech. I am not willing to give these rights up for nothen. I will fight to the end for them.
