We hold this truth to be self evident ! ! ! By way of extreme example: Mr. Obamunist Goodwrench the assassin, along with the rest of the occupying statist theocracy infesting this land, are all, intentionally and exponentially prohibiting, in greater and greater degrees: natural law / order / justice, commerce, sound - at law - fiscal policy and specie of value, prosperity, inherent rights, time proven morality and virtues, competing religions to atheistic socialism, freedom, liberty, individual sovereignty and all else that exhibits humanity's nobility, all while being chosen to return to continue more of the same. Another example: where unions and licenses prohibit construction with out their presence and standards (having an extreme presence) the virtue of the people is to do as little as possible to meet the standard. Where such prohibitions are non-existent, virtuous self-being and work excel (in quality and in all ways).

I don't know that people would be "less virtuous" so much as less law abiding. As Churchill said: “If you make ten thousand regulations you destroy all respect for the law.” And he was right. How do you respect a legal system that robs you and treats you as inventory to be disposed of at will? Answer: You don't.

Alcohol prohibition didn't work in 1920 and drug prohibition doesn't work now. But the government keeps spending millions on a "war on drugs" that doesn't solve anything and only makes matters worse. Check out LEAP.cc on the web and see what former drug cops think about it.

I think there is a direct correlation between freedom and liberty - and - virtue and morals. Those that have little to no virtue (and/or morals - President Clinton for example) will look you in the eye and lie to you, then pile on more prohibitions (for one reason, prohibition and other forms of control are attempts to compensate for their sense of immoral / non-virtue status of being) Mr. Obamunist Goodwrench the assassin will not be virtuous or moral by speaking of his gay tryst accusers, his real religious inclinations, his place of birth and other well published citizenships, his personal and learning association with / from terrorists, his intention to cause harm and otherwise devastation to individuals and this nation etc. - all demonstrated by his anti-law prohibitions of freedom and liberty.

The more a people are ruled, the more irresponsible they become. Either Liberty and Responsibility or Dependence and Obedience.

Slaves are inherently depraved; especially those who are enslaved spiritually.

Granted there must be, only one door to enter, there, at our Tree of Liberty. Many speak of armour, breast plate, helmet and shield. It is the Armour of Light, HONSETY that bears up under responsibility and scrutiny. Trials and afflictions create adversity. It is dealing with adversity where the virtuous ( honest ) are made to shine. " There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord shall stand. The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar. Wisdom strengthens the wise more than ten might men which are in the city. For there is not a just man upon the earth that does good and sinneth not. Lo this only have I found, that God made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions. Drawing from Solomon and the Psalmist concerning time and judgment. There is an evil which I have seen under the sun, as an error which proceeds from the ruler: Folly is set in great dignity, and the rich ( virtuous) sit in low place. I have seen servants upon horses, and princes walking as servants upon the earth. Solo ch, 10. Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return , ye children of men. Psa 90 So shall I keep thy law continually for ever and ever. And I will walk at Liberty; for I seek thy precepts. Psa 119:44,45. Honesty is an amazing thing concerning God's natural laws ! Liars tend to be thieves.
