"But you must remember, my fellow-citizens,
that eternal vigilance by the people is the price of liberty,
and that you must pay the price if you wish to secure the blessing."

A perception; how strange is it that Amerikans are vigilant in fighting for others liberty while at home, they crouch down and lick the hands which feed them ?

The distinction to make is that we must be ever watchful of 'designing men' within our borders and within the halls of government. External enemies and terrorists are no real threat to our freedom -- but within our government we must be ever vigilant against usurpation or power and the legislating away of our rights and property 'for our own safety.' Jackson killed the central bank of his day and called them a den of vipers. There was an assassination attempt shortly thereafter. Other presidents were not so lucky - Lincoln, Garfield, Kennedy were all assassinated shortly after making moves to getting out from under the thumb of the banksters.

And because of a lack of vigilance, America has become bankrupted. Without correcting the corruption and 'flaws' within our government 'laws' we will lose more and more rights and property until we find ourselves serfs in our own country.

How great is that. A very outspoken president.
Thirteen letters in his name and he was the seventh president.
Thirteen being the number of rebellion and seven being the
    number of completion.
In that he brings the blessing to mind so also is the commandment . Nine being the number of the covenant and blessing.
In the nineth book and the fifth chapter first verse ,New Testament, you will find the commandment .
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ
hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke
    of bondage.
They have taken away our ability to inherit ,spoiled our food stuffs and made us slaves. It has taken 149 years to accomplish this task. Materialism is a great deceiver. Our guard has let us down and the people let their guard down.
Be carful of innovation as Washington noted in his farewell address. You will not fix the government nor has it been the
objective of this experimentation of administration of liberty and freedom under the Grace of God.
But to fulfill the fullness of times in gathering together those
that are Christ. Change is coming
My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and
mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon
me, and on mine arm shall they trust. To this fulfillment
have we witnessed in our nation and we love his appearing !
Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice.
