You ought to know, Bill! I guess it depends on what the meaning of 'is' is...

Bill Clinton wouldn't tell the truth if it were right in front of him. How could the people have elected the liar twice???

Bill Clinton created a surplus under his administration from a hundreds of billions of dollars deficit from Bush Sr. Bush Jr. turned a 200 billion dollar surplus into a 200 billion dollar deficit in his first 3 years in office. Bill Clinton created jobs and cut the unemployment rate in half from Bush Sr's administration. He did more for this country's working class than Bush Sr. Bush Jr. or any other republican president in the modern era.

Unfortunately AJ, Bill is giving a lecture on Truth and Tyranny not taking credit for taxes paid and people employed by the private sector. I am sure has a quote on that one as well.

I knew when I read this quote there would be some facetious remarks. Well done AJ - if they can talk about Bills sex life (through innuendo) which is none of anyones business you can discuss Bills fiscal responsibility (which the GOP lost a long time ago). Oh yes and then there were WMD

AJ knows real truth when he sees it. The analysis of the word "is" was Bills finest moment. Republicans are masters at deficts and being wasteful. Thw frivolous Whitewarter investigations which wasted millinons and led to nothing except an innocent blow job had absolutely nothing to do with government. As usual RBESRQ is extemely erudite and candid in his memarks. Thank God Bill will again be thrust into the lime light as the husband of our Secretary of State. I look forward to the Camelot that Prez O is bringing forth including the colleagues associated with Bill Clinton especially Al Gore, Hillary Clinton, Bill Richarson, Tom Daschle etcetera. Thank God also that the liars like Bush and Cheney are leaving town.

Slick Willie gets all the credit for his "good" economy. After he was in office 2 years the Republicans won the House and Senate and kept it for the last 6 years of his term. Most Dems seem to forget this, wonder why.

Dems don't forget it. The reason the Republicans won is because Clinton was the only sitting President who had the guts to sign the Brady Bill. When he ran he said he would sign it and he did. Reagan and Bush I would never stand up like men against the NRA while in office but after Clinton signed it they said, "it is just common sense" and "we already have that in California". They just had no guts as Presidents. The NRA used the issue to fire up the rednecks and the knee jerkers.

AJ no one with a brain is going to believe that crap. There has not been a surplus since Truman. Waffer, you really can make a fool of your self. This ignorance is incredible. It was apparent the Bill suffered from mental condition that allowed him to actually believe what came out of his mouth. He could believe what he said because he has no grasp of reality

AJ forgets Clinton left Bush with an economy in recession. Fortunate to have been President during the internet boom, that Al Gore did not invent.
The famed surplus was phony accounting, hadn't been a real surplus since Eisenhower.

Spoken by a Fabian Socialist, speaking truth, to weave deception. Ever promoting globalization through democratic socialism. Bill was impeached ! Waffler's hero, Waffler's mindset, creates a sad state of affairs. Which has been kicked to the curb ! The sleeping giant has Awakened ! The Moral majority has spoken, and things Will be Put back in Order. As the alignment is already taking place. America will prosper like no other time in history. Those " red necks", little and big farmers and/or those who cherish a wholesome life are the Back Bone of the Nation. Semper Fi

AJ, Robert and Waffler, the "surplus was/is a great big 'LIE' ! ! ! A surplus would mean all bills of the U.S. were paid and there was extra money just sitting there. "A lie told often enough becomes the truth" (Lenin - A Clinton criminal cartel hero) Not even addressing a surplus is not possible when using "NOTES" as money BUT, since 1913 the occupying statist theocracy infesting this land has never spent (including future promises for the kids, grand kids, etc. to pay) less than what was immediately brought in to the treasury. And, after the dot com bubble burst, Clinton handed over to Bush as bad an economic recession as Bush handed over to Mr. Obomunist Goodwrench the assassin.
