and the first and most difficult risk we can take

Indeed it does, but even more courage is to act accordingly. It's not enough to be honest in a vacuum.

David welsh, Don't worry about guys like Mike and jim k who may have yet to prepare their own paths but one thing I am sure of during the whole facade that is being woven into our system of by those that choose to, these quys know the truth that's there and and know it's been buried but thank you all for being there In the long run for exciting times

Liberals can never admit to the truth or be honest about their agenda because that would expose them for the weasels they really are. If they told us what they really believe about blacks, their whole program would fail. If they told us what they really believe about the poor, their hypocrisy would be exposed to the whole world. They don't hate the rich, they ENVY the rich and will do all they can to bring them down and then elevate themselves to that status. It's what all this crap is about!

It seems as our nation becomes less and less law abiding and tuned out the US Constitution her citizens and those elected to support the citizenry have all buried their heads in the ground. The part remaining is good for little more than a place to park a bike. Hopefully, they will pull their heads, stand up for what the country is about, and turn us back into a responsible, generous, republic. Time is wasting away while they have those heads buried....

The promise of 'security' will blind a man to the truth and tempt him to think he can trade his responsibility for safety. All of life is a risk -- and courage is absolutley necessary for freedom and security. We live in a world in which every living thing lives off of other living things -- it is a constant process of consumption and entropy. It is a dance til death, killing and consuming along the way. The utopians would have us believe that our security lies in being obedient drones in which such consumption is regulated and 'sanitized', but killing and consumption it still is. The denial of the inherent risk in life and one's individual responsibility to survive in a world of risks is the root cause of cowardice and servitude.

Gunny, that was really uncalled for - just stick to the quote... Unfortunately being honest to ourselves can be both positive and negative. So, I can only give this four stars.
