"Neither the trappings of robes, nor temples of stone, nor a fixed
liturgy, nor an extensive literature or history is required to meet the
test of beliefs cognizable under the Constitution as religious. So far
as our law is concerned, one person's religious beliefs held for one
day are presumptively entitled to the same protection as the beliefs of
millions which have been shared for thousands of years."

Fuck Jack Weinstein. He is the asshole judge whose court every anti Second Amendment case in New York winds up in so he can put his anti gun decision on it. He hasn't got a clue as to what his charge is as an interpeter and fair arbitrator of the law and our orecious Constitution. FUCK JUDGE JACK WEINSTEIN!!!

Millions believe that Jesus is coming but none can produce one verse that says, suggests, hints or implies that Jsus will come IN OUR FUTURE. Care to try? neatmail@gmail.com To believe anyone is coming is to deny their presence. Millions believe that government spends billions of dollars but none will accept my offer of 100 pounds of money for just describing the money that government spends. Why won't you?

Ole Jack is a great legislator from the bench. Usually doesn't hold much with law or founding principles but did get this one right. From the newest zealot 'A'theist, to the oldest and most devout 'Z'en, he happen to get this one right.

Hey Larry B, that was a real classy reply, or maybe classless is more accurate.

I dont know the previous decisions of Judge Weinstein, but on this decision I agree. Religions are referred to as faiths because that is exactly what they are, beliefs that are based primarily on faith. As a result the accuracy of beliefs of one religion are not superior to another simply because they have been in existence for centuries longer than another. Religions were created by different cultures for different reasons and are used for good and bad.

Dave, I don't understand your statement. What are you trying to say exactly? It seems you have a finer nuance that you are alluding to. I know one of my children is coming to dinner, but by believing that, I don't deny their presence. Jesus Himself said "For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; . . . till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom." (Matthew 16:27,28) Understanding John 18:36 when Jesus told Pilate His kingdom was not of this world, we know this a reference to be of His future return. By way of example: 1 Cor 15:23, and 1 Thes 2:19, spoken after Jesus was gone, addresses a future arrival.

Even a tyrant can get one right. Clothes don't make the man and neither does religion, but I wouldn't want to walk around in public without either (and no one else would want me to either). If religion helps cause good personal behavior, whether it is old or new, I'm all for it. If an aberrant religion/ideology calls for destruction and murder, then I'm not.

Unfortunately, it's not Christianity we are against but its followers - they have little in common with the teachings of Christ. Good people will always rise to the top regardless of any affiliation. Good people do not need religion to live a moral existence. But, if their beliefs further the course of humanities well being without prerequisites or conditions then I will protect them also.

Just because a religion is old does not make it true, and just because a new religion is 'reformed' doesn't make it any less false. Truth, Love and Courage -- try it and apply it.

This is why we have freedom of speech in our nation. Who is my adversary, let him come near. As our Constitution allows.
Vulgar children always lash out when they want their way. No means no, and yes means yes says the good parent. To take advantage of or play both ends against the middle will only work for a little while, but if both parents understand the childish folly, the child will be in check ! Only to have a fit and sit in the corner. The word Christian was first used in Antioc as pertaining to those that followed Christ. The greatest rebel of all time to bring to light the doctrines of liberty and freedom.
I am sure it must have been said of our Founding Fathers to take heed to yourselves what ye intend to do as touching these men. But if it be of God, ye cannot overthrow it ; lest haply ye be found even to fight against God. This course of human event has been bore out of time to be true. If one is found to agree with perverted behavior or to promote it. That person should be removed from a position of influence. It is not worth the breath to engage in conversation with those that would wish our children to be perverted as they are. Unruly, and full of deceit and envy. They are reprobate !!
We seek after that which good is, as King David said.
Thou that makest thy boast of the law, through breaking the law dishonourest thou God ? As Paul tell us.

The Kingdom of God cometh not with observation, but is within. As Paul tells, he and two others labored unto. Would it be to hard to realize that mens lines of things can be known in depth. As his and others planted in the garden by God ? Men that bear rule. God provideth the rule. To whom hath the arm of The Lord been reveled ?

Hey Larry B. - You sure ought to do something about that Trench Mouth infliction you seem to suffer so greatly from!
Eloquence definitely is a total loss in the realm you live in.

Yes, Jesus was to come in the future of those who were reading or listening. When Paul said to the Hebrews: "Unto those who look for Him, he shall appear a second time. He.9:28 TO THE HEBREWS PAUL WAS WRITING--NOT TO US!

You want us to believe those Hebrews never looked for Him and He never appeared to them a second time and Paul lied??? And he appeared to the millions a second time who read those words since Paul wrote them when Jesus never appeared to those millions including you and me when He never appeared to you and me the first time? Too many people believe preachers when they should believe the Bible! The god of Freemasonry is Lucifer said Albert Pike, the highest Mason in American history. Their religion is based on unfulfilled prophecy and their goal is to impose their religion on the world. Their success is seen in the millions who deny that ALL prophecy is fulfilled. To have the true gospel one must ALWAYS consider who was writing or speaking to whom. When Paul wrote "We shall meet the Lord in the air" "We" did not include you and me, it included Paul and his contemporary believers. When Jesus said "ye are sons of your father, the devil" He was not speaking to me! Was he speaking to you? Did Jesus tell us to "render unto Caesar" NO ! He was speaking to the Herodians! At no times was Jesus or Paul writing or speaking to us because WE WERE NOT THERE! If you deny that all prophecy is fulfilled, you have bought the religion of Freemasonry whose god is Lucifer!

Further, Jesus said his kingdom "is not meat and drink" and "comes not by observation". He said "if two or more gather in my name, I am right there between you." So you are in church with 500 others gathered in his name but Jesus was not there? You think Jesus lied? You will never understand as long as you believe his kingdom is observable and it is meat and drink. His kingdom is SPIRITUAL and spiritual things are never seen.
