I'm not quite sure how to rate this. Probably 5 stars plus. Natural law is equal to all men 'BUT', that is not the reference used. To the quote; the lesser man justifies and freely submits to compelled compliance, license, victimless crimes, larceny with impunity and denial of individual inalienable rights as he calls slavery, tyranny and despotism - law. Great men conduct themselves at harmony with natural law with right being an innate consequence.

How true. Obama is giving the low information folks, the dumbed down students, and the illegal aliens the laws he wants to control them with. Example, the New Patriot Act and Obamacare, etc...

We patriots who are informed and intellegent know that we already possess the laws we need to govern our lives, they are the Constitution, The Bill Of Rights and the Bible.

A government of, by, and for the people rests upon the hearts and minds of the people. From the voting booth to the jury box, CONSCIENCE is the ultimate regulator. The consent of the governed rests upon individual conscience. "Right" is weighed by conscience, religion is weighed by conscience. While 'Truth' is whatever it is, it is conscience that judges the 'right' of it.

Robert, welcome, good comments. Hope you will become a regular. A little FYI, the Constitution gives no authority to the federal government to address immigration in any way. Immigration is Constitutionally a State issue. The federal government was given the authority to define citizenship but, that is nothing related to immigration. Because there are no current States passing or enforcing immigration regulations, statutes, etc. there are lawfully or constitutionally no illegal aliens. Those non-regulated individuals passing States united borders are not necessarily the problem associated to them. The primary problem is the occupying statist theocracy infesting this land with its unlawful / unconstitutional canons, dogmas, and anti-freedom / commercial activities.

Smart meters, technocracy, carbon currency, USPS logs mail for FBI, NSA, seriously, no matter how free you attempt to be, there are those who will soon stifle, oppress...Metro, Agenda 21, United Nations, NDAA, Patriot Act, I'm just saying....

Lessor men takes what ever they can get, (self satisfaction) and justifies there behaviour as good in their own eyes. The greater man sees a creator accountability and controls himself in that light, as we are all God's creatures. It is to bad that there are so many lessor men as politicians these days. I think of the Pharisee pounding his chest and saying, "See how good I am" Hypocrites?

Another reason I didn't rate the quote is because laws don't so much "control" the greater man but rather, just simply define his natural actions. It might be said, justice claims the lesser man while the greater man is in harmony with natural mercy.

Order followers are becoming more and more and they are told it's the law - anything for a pay-check. America has lost its way and it may never find right conduct..
