We all have vices, some are just worse than others. The trouble starts when goverment laws turn vices into crimes. Making drug use a crime is just one example and has filled our jails with non-violent citizens. LEAP.cc

The real crime is when the vices of the rich are supported by the rich people they have purchased public office for and when those vices include putting a heavy thumb down upon the poor & middle class...

So Reston, who purchased Obama and Bite-me(Biden)???? They are both rich now and help to create more poor folks.

Vices are human.People are human. Yes gentelmen, it is wrong to buy an office , it is wrong to sell the seats of power of our nation to the highest bidder. Yes, our jails are filled with non violent people, it is wrong to "privatize" prisons, that creates a situation where more and more "bodies" are needed to fill the cells, to create more jobs. Somehow, we must ease up on the situation, get the real bad guys, and leave the good guys alone. They rule by fear.....the only solace i have at this time, is KNOWING there are millions of people who know these truths.

How do you define rich? Political connections must be bought (one reason Mr. Obamunist Goodwrench the assassin, Harry Reid, etc. have become millionaires while serving the ... hmm ahh ?) The quote is more the rule than the exception.

One only has to look at the antics of our Hollywood stars to see the truth of this adage. It seems that they can get away with drug and sexual abuses--in fact--their stature sems to be enhanced by such behavior. However, government big-wigs, once exposed to the public for those vices are toast. They do, however, seem to get away with embezzlement, and the more they embezzle the higher their stature seems to rise.

and it helps that the rich (on both sides, dem and repub.....enter the Koch brothers, and Sorros) make many of the laws in our world, with the help of their lobbiests, and special interest money! We can give a BIG thank you to the not-so-supreme court for making a corporation a PERSON......our founding fathers are turning in thier graves over that UN-patriot act! I would expect the Republicans to uphold our civil rights, and not give tyranical power to soul-less, profit driven corporations led by sociopaths, and consciousless people. But, here we are! Thanks chief un-justice, John Roberts! Yet another not-conservative, in a long line of not-conservatives calling themselves Rebublicans!

Wall Street Investment Bank CEO's were the primary suspects in causing the national financial crisis of 2008. They told us that they were just careless and 'made a mistake' .
The modest income latino with poor English skills who signed the no-documentation contract to buy a $500,000. home in California was the real culprit in the crisis, we were told.

    Lady Blessington was right!
