"When all government, in little as in great things, shall be drawn to Washington as the Center of all Power, it will render powerless the checks provided of one government on another and will become as venal and oppressive as the government from which we separated."

historically accurate from research and experience...you can argue it but he lived it.

Right now I'd say it's worse than the one than the one Jefferson separated from. And going downhill by the minute.

America is closer to being a banana republic than a Constitutional Republic at this point.

It has to be awful bad when the IRS reveals an internal scandal in order to take the nations eye off of a worse scandal. Makes you think that there could be some possibilities of revealing criminal activity. To think that letting us know that the last election was not legit (like it was not obvious to informed citizens) is politically less damaging than Benghazi makes you wonder what else there is in that story (Benghazi) that we should know.

There was a reason the federal Capital was restricted to a 10 mile square area -- unfortunately, we have forgotten why...

Designing minds of aristocrats aloof, carving out hereditary title in the New World. All the while centralizing power in Washington for preferred influence at the State Department.

The occupying statist theocracy infesting this land has committed a most gross jurisdictional usurpation as part of its socialistic goals. Centralized theocratic dogma, complete with canon now permeates the entire nation from its 10 square miles. The 9th and 10th Amendments have been rendered powerless checks. The national establishment of religion is as (or more) venal and oppressive as the government from which the States united separated.

For all practical purposes the states will soon be eliminated as a form of check on the federal government.  The last election will become the norm for all elections.  I do not see much hope for stopping it.  Elections may no longer be a check on power when the obvious corruption is spread to all states by federal law. Cheating will now be legal.

It's going to have to be fought at the state level.  If a Secretary of State certifies a fraudulent election, there is nothing the Federal government can do.  Citizens of these states will have to sue the electoral boards, present evidence, and make the case before a jury, not a judge.  To count ballots twice is a criminal act.  To count any ballot deemed not verified is a crime.  Certainly many procedural rules were broken many times over.  The states need to reign in their urban vote counting centers which are the ones that are counted last so that they can manufacture the votes needed.  We saw this over and over in 2020 in those swing 'counties' that miraculously found hundreds of thousands of votes.

Leftist mayors and governors protected this fraud, and if they are not taken to account, they will keep doing it (and likely have been doing it for a long time).

Reporting any of this in the press or social media is censored and a call for a permanent ban for spreading misinformation.  Goebbels would have loved this power.
