zero by an extremely brief explanation, a republican form of government recognizes each individual as a sovereign with inalienable rights. The resulting body politic represents each and every, any and all individual's inalienable rights. Natural law (existing with or without man) is defined by tools such as codes, ordinances, regulations, rules, statutes, etc. for man's administrations. A democracy recognizes no individual's right. A democracy, as a god, has ability to create law (a government of men vs. a government of law). How long must one plead the case before the court ! A Sovereign is BORN in adversity. The first right of birth. In the USA are your rights to be governed as a child till fruition. Then said individual sovereign may take their post with moral code and exercise of responsible and ordered, dictated by conscience. Before the court and God. This is an education with a moral guide post of moderation for the wellbeing of the state and family ! God is my witness. Most simply, a democracy does not / can not (by definition) recognize: individual sovereignty, inalienable rights, liberty, any sentient being, "the laws of nature and of nature's God" (Declaration of Independence) and The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form" (Article IV Section 4 U.S. Constitution). A “Democracy”: “That form of government in which the sovereign power is exercised ⋯ in a body” (Bouvier’s Law Dictionary) – averse to an individual (mob rule). Of course, a most clear illustration being attributed to Benjamin Franklin; “Democracy is 2 wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for supper. Freedom is a well armed lamb contesting the vote.” The ole forest and tree adage works well in defining a democracy; though there are trees voting, only the forest is recognized.
