    .... hence, it may, as perhaps it was intended to, discourage others from committing the same crime. "Actions have consequences" ... "don't do the crime if you won't do the time" ... are we responsible for our actions ?

    My thought process went to multiple cases where the occupying statist theocracy infesting this land merely lied to stick a political prisoner behind bars - or worse. For example, I had some friends that were very health conscious while being very active against the IRS. One morning their daughter went to visit and found a house that had been completely cleaned out of everything. It was only by a string of accidents that we found them in prison. Once it was found they were in prison, both died within months from cancer (never once being seen after their abduction) So, my ABSOLUTELY, - welcome to Amerika - where imprisonment, as it exists today, is a worse crime
