Suffer is one of many words derived from the Latin "ferre" (to bear); transfer, ferry, defer, infer, etc. meaning carry, endure, experience; as used in "Suffer little children to come unto me". It meant carry, not endure pain, as is commonly misunderstood. So the quote, in context, meant "Formerly we endured crimes; now we endure laws." Another example of the fallacy of accepting translations too literally

Personally I am suffering far more from the crimes that people like King George W are committing against all of humanity than I am from any law of the land (other than the ones which are a part of those crimes against humanity).

This quote defines well what is happening in conservative states like Indiana. Because of their tax cuts to the rich, they have no money to operate the state functions, so they levy onerous local user fee "taxes" against the poorer masses. So they have laws against parking under a tree after 7 pm at night unless it's a national holiday, or other such tortured laws. I recently was warned not to park with my tires over the curb in the grass in front of my family's home for the past 50 years - and am told I was lucky I got only a warning. Two other people on my street were sideswiped by speeders (which is why I parked over the curb), and one man was fined $65 for parking outside the "lines". Seems a bit excessive to me! (and this in an area where TEA Partiers and other ultra-conservatives prevail, but apparently none who believe in libertarianism ...

Warnings: “Once we suffered from crimes; now we suffer from laws,” Cornelius Tacitus, Roman Historian. [Even though we also suffer from lack of justice too, for example: “The Myth of Moral Justice, Why Our Legal System Fails to Do What’s Right” 2005 edition by Fordham Law School Professor Thane Rosenbaum; “Juris-Mania: The Madness of American Law;” and example annual research report: “What is Right about the Legal System and What is Not” by UCLA Law Professor Stephen Yeazell, etc.] “For victims of over-zealous religious, political and other threats, intimidation, extortion, or other acts of potential and other coercion wherein a potential or actual act is proposed to elicit a negative response, there are civil and criminal recourses that could cost the perpetuators six digits or more to hire a criminal attorney and other penalties:” “One innocent citizen recently was awarded $1.3 million due to unscrupulous abusive debt collector’s threats, intimidations and extortion to try to collect debts that were never owed and never existed, another victim on verge of collecting $200,000 and one collected $81,000 due to unscrupulous abusive debt collectors threats, intimidations or extortion violated the rule of law to try to collect debts that were owed.” See “Suing Abusive Debt Collectors” and “Sticking It to Sue Happy Debt Collectors, Don’t Get Mad, Get Even, and Get Paid! By Allan Harkleroad. “Aggravated assault penalties depend on the degree and any injuries that may have occurred. Penalties also depend on the state where the assault took place. Aggravated assault charges can be treated as misdemeanors in some states, while other states will treat this charge as a felony. For example, in some states average fines and jail time for an aggravated assault conviction range from $150-$500 and from four months to one year in county jail, while in others, fines and jail time average $10,000 and up to 15 years in prison.” “Because penalties for this type of crime depend on both the degree of assault and the state in which the assault was committed, an individual should always talk to a lawyer to determine accurate penalties for his or her case. Possible penalties for aggravated assault include jail time, probation and electronic monitoring, fines and court costs, parole, mandatory anger management classes, restitution for the victim, and/or loss of the right to own or possess a firearm or weapon.” “As opposed to simple assault, what is aggravated assault?” “Aggravated assault is an attempt to cause serious bodily injury to another or to cause serious bodily injury purposely, knowingly or recklessly, with an extreme indifference to the value of human life. Aggravated assault also occurs when a person attempts to cause or purposely or knowingly causes bodily injury to another with a deadly weapon. In all jurisdictions, statutes punish aggravated assaults, such as assault with the intent to murder, rob, kill, or rape, as well as assault with a dangerous or deadly weapon, more severely than simple assaults.” “Aggravated Assault vs. Simple Assault:” “As opposed to aggravated assault, a simple assault (also just “assault”) is any willful attempt or threat to inflict injury upon the person of another. What this means is, an assault may be committed without actually touching, striking, or doing bodily harm to the person of another. An intentional display of force that would give the other person reason to fear or expect bodily harm constitutes assault. For example, if an individual threatens another while holding up his or her fist, this is probably simple assault.” “However, if the assailant has a deadly weapon while threatening injury upon another, this would most likely elevate the charge to aggravated assault.” “Deadly weapons are weapons that may be used to cause a serious or fatal injury. Deadly weapons include guns, knives and fists, but can also include other instruments that, under normal circumstances, wouldn’t be considered deadly weapons. For example, suppose an assailant threatens an individual with bodily harm while holding a butter knife to their neck. While a butter knife is not normally considered to be a deadly weapon, a jury could find that it was being used as one under these circumstances.” “A simple assault can also rise to the level of an aggravated assault charge depending on the identity of the victim. Some states will prosecute any type of assault on an on-duty police officer or firefighter as an aggravated assault. Some states will even elevate the assault charges when the victim is pregnant. Generally, the assailant must have known, or should have reasonably known, of the victim’s status. Whether the assailant knew or not can be shown by either the uniform, appearance, or the conduct of the victim.” “Degrees of Aggravated Assault” “The definitions of the different degrees of aggravated assault vary according to state laws. In general, however, first degree aggravated assault occurs when the act is committed with deliberately premeditated malice aforethought. This means there must be either an intentional attempt to commit serious bodily injury or intentional serious bodily injury must have been committed.” “Second degree aggravated assault occurs when the act is committed without deliberation or premeditation. However, the mental state of “reckless indifference” can elevate a lesser charge to a second degree charge, as can a protected status of a victim, such as a police officer. Lesser offenses include third degree aggravated assault and fourth degree aggravated assault. These charges are usually brought if the assailant attempts to commit significant bodily harm, rather than serious bodily harm. Lesser offenses are usually seen in fist fights (by non-professionals) and other similar situations, but the penalties for committing these offenses are still high.” “It never occurred to the lawyers (and other professionals and politicians) that they should suggest or insist on any improvements in their system(s),” Franz Kafka’s “The Trial.” “This world is a dangerous place to live, not because of the people who activities are evil, but because of those who don’t do anything about it,” Albert Einstein. Congressional Record: Current Communist Goals (1958/1963) Restoring America PAC ^Cleon Skousen Posted on Saturday, November 06, 2004 2:01:50 PM by Remember Salamis: I don't know how many of you have read this; it's been posted at FR dozens of times since the site was stood up. But there's a lot of new FReepers around that should read this. It is taken from the 1958 book "The Naked Communist" by Cleon Skousen, an FBI Agent. In it, he published a list of what Communism's goals were/are for America. It was later entered into the Congressional Record by Congressman Albert Herlong (D-FL). It is a chilling document when looking back at how many of the 45 goals have been accomplished. Many assume that Skousen somehow acquired a list of goals, which is highly unlikely. What's more likely is that Skousen looked at Communist documents and actions at the time, then extrapolated how they would accomplish those goals. BUT THIS DOES NOT DETRACT FROM THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE DOCUMENT. Regardless, words written in 1958 are dead-on accurate predictions of how the Left (Modern Liberalism, Socialism and Communism or their newer names that tries to camouflage their true identity and true intent) operates today. You might need to send it out to everybody you know. - R.S. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1272893/posts

But those who listen to the free audio version of one of the most important books ever written on the uses and abuses of law. While 38 pages short, The Law has proven itself time and time again to be life changing to those who read it. Walter Williams an economics professor at George Mason University put it thusly: I must have been forty years old before reading Frederic Bastiat's classic The Law. An anonymous person, to whom I shall eternally be in debt, mailed me an unsolicited copy. After reading the book, I was convinced that a liberal-arts education without an encounter with Bastiat is incomplete. Reading Bastiat made me keenly aware of all the time wasted, along with the frustrations of going down one blind alley after another, organizing my philosophy of life. The Law did not produce a philosophical conversion for me as much as it created order in my thinking about liberty and just human conduct. He goes on to say: Many philosophers have made important contributions to the discourse on liberty, Bastiat among them. But Bastiat's greatest contribution is that he took the discourse out of the ivory tower and made ideas on liberty so clear that even the unlettered can understand them and statists cannot obfuscate them. Clarity is crucial to persuading our fellowman of the moral superiority of personal liberty. If you are looking for a single book that once read will provide you with many hours of thought and may perhaps change the way you look at life and your interactions with others, this is it http://freeaudio.org/fbastiat/thelaw.html Or read the free 38 page book The Law by Frederic Bastiat http://bastiat.org/en/the_law.html

The first step in protecting ourselves from our enemies is to understand what makes them tick ~ see Profile of a Predator chapter in Chuck Whitlocks Scam School and distinguished criminologists Deceivers and Deceived. Unfortunately, we cant automatically trust people or take them at face value. And the next step in protecting ourselves from our enemies is to understand a central truth about the way organizations work ~ see Who Really Matters by Art Kleiner who clarifies one key reason why rational people often act in seemingly irrational and criminally wrongdoing ways within the confines of their core group(s) of their organizations. Like any deep insight, it makes explicable what had previously been mysterious. Everyone must search for all truths: vital empirical prima facie forensic evidence and related facts and only then will they be able to make in intelligent decision instead of voting on their gut instincts, instead of voting on issues which divert attention away from real solutions and instead of voting on campaign promises which only divide and conquer. And then, and only then, will they be able to make an intelligent decision.

See the 50 year bestseller by William Wilberforce, a hero of humanity that has done more for humanity than anyone in the world without bloodshed and is one of the reasons why you are where you are today! A faith that changed history with his 20 years and 18 years of conflicts, battles and wars against crime: this is the story of William Wilberforce's struggle to abolish the Slave Trade, reform child labor laws, prisons, poorhouses, the lottery, to institute education, health care for the poor while they also were reforming the morals of Great Britain. In God's Politician, Garth Lean provides an insightful and stirring account of how Wilberforce and his colleagues in the "Clapham circle" put their faith into action and changed the course of history. Their legacy was one of far-reaching moral renewal as well as testimony to the power of the individual to effect change in his world. The Foreword by Charles W. Colson summarizes his life and their accomplishments. http://www.amazon.com/Practical-Christianity-Hendrickson-Christian-Classics/dp/1598561227

It is indeed my privilege and pleasure to provide these vital empirical prima facie forensic evidence and related facts that will help us win more conflicts, battles and wars against terrorism, other crimes, wrongdoings and lesser indefensible violation practices of impostor professional career criminal predator con artist chameleon parasite masterminds core or enterprise groups co-masterminds, co-conspirators and/or inadvertent and/or other facilitators of conspiracies to repeatedly perpetuate patterns of racketeering activities, other crimes, wrongdoings and lesser indefensible violation practices that should similarly not be trivialized, otherwise we risk undermining the publics faith in the executive, legislative and judicial justice systems. Why? They are all affronts to anyones conception of OUR ENEMY, THE STATE, an agent of oppression and plunder that undermines life, liberty/freedom, security, peace, property, opportunity and other characteristics of a nations, culture and society that is based on absolute, timeless principles that have been the foundation of all stable societies, regardless of what adherents (religions, churches, denominations, religious bodies, faith groups, tribes, cultures, movements, ultimate concerns, etc.) they practice, etc. When it comes to the delivery or execution of each governmental branches legitimate roles of serving as impartial vehicles for the administration of executive, legislative and judicial justice (the safeguarding of life, liberty, property, and the pursuit of happiness for American Citizens and their guests), lesser indefensible violation practices of human behavior are simply wrong and we would not wish to find ourselves dignifying such conduct or fear naming them for what they are simply because we dont want to be thought of a morally and ethically inflexible, for example, some lesser indefensible violation practices: Crushing the opposition without mercy, Obscuring and sabotaging the truth, Perpetuating secrets and lies, Dis-acknowledging Loss and Disallowing citizens and their guests an opportunity to proclaim those losses, Treating victims without respect and dignity, Refusing to recognize injuries done to the spirit, Devaluing everything to money, Failing to come to the aid of those in distress, and Engaging in practices of defensiveness and denial ~ Rather than accepting responsibility and undertaking efforts of repair Each of these, in their own way violate moral and ethical principles that all human beings, in their bones know to be true, regardless of their adherents, religious or cultural affiliations. The procedural morality of the executive, legislative and law are the best evidence of how immoral and unethical they can be, especially when there is fraud, abuse, waste, violations of civil rights, violations of civil liberties and other ongoing assaults against humanity, including but not limited to financial and other subversion, democide, genocide, elimination-ism, and the culture of corruption, plunder and blunder of isms and their bloated welfare state that wont survive our Information Age either all justified with relativisms. We have only begun our conflicts, battles and war against Our Enemy, The State, and its impostor professional career criminal predators con artist chameleon parasite masterminds core or enterprise groups co-masterminds, co-conspirators and/or inadvertent and/or other facilitators that conspire to repeatedly perpetuate patterns of racketeering activities in interstate and foreign commerce, other crimes, wrongdoings and lesser indefensible violations practices of isms and the bloated welfare state that wont survive our Information Age either, but we end this series of vital empirical prima facie forensic evidence and related facts where we began: That Which is Seen & That Which is Not Seen: The Unintended Consequences of Government Spending, by M. Frederic Bastiat ~ where we began our journey for An Identity Theft Fraud Prevention Plan for All Free, Consuming and Voting Americans who are concerned about this and future generations of Americans and their guests. We pray these resources of vital empirical prima facie forensic evidence and related facts are a blessing to you and ask that you share them with other concerned citizens,

I end where I began, contemplating burnt, smoldering books outside Yale Law School It is important to understand what the Sixties turmoil was about, for the youth culture that became manifest then is the modern liberal culture of today ~ the forces let loose by the decade that changed America ~ the protests were primarily about the moral superiority of the protestors and their rage against their own country. All that is true I have been describing trends, not making an overall assessment of our culture, but it is also true that the trends have been running the wrong way for over 50 years, dramatically so in the past 44 years Country singer and social philosopher Merle Haggard says that the decade of the Sixties was just the evening of it all. I think were into the dead of night now. If the trends of modern liberalism continue, the dead of night still lies ahead. So, an understanding of our problem and the will to resist may be our only hope. Our hopes, our struggles, and our optimism must be for the long run. The first requisite is to learn to know what is happening to us? Slouching into Gomorrah, Modern Liberalism and American Decline has tried to answer that, to show that decline runs across our entire culture and that it has a common cause, modern liberalism. The second step is resistance to modern liberalism which is radical individualism and radical egalitarianism in every area of our culture. It is pointless to ask What is the solution? There is no single grand strategy. Just as the New Left abandoned an overarching program and became a series of like-minded groups advancing area by area, so it must be counterattacked area by area. Though I did not suspect it then, the charred law books on the sidewalk in New Haven at Yale Law School were a metaphor, a symbol of the coming torching of Americas intellectual and moral capital by the barbarians of modern liberalism. We have allowed that capital to be severely damaged, but perhaps not beyond repair. As we approach its desolate and sordid precincts, the pessimism of the intellect tells us that Gomorrah is our probable destination. What is left to us is a determination not to accept that fate and the courage to resist it ~ the optimism of the will, Slouching into Gomorrah, Modern Liberalism and American Decline by Judge Robert H. Bork.

During the Second World War the allies adopted the Four Freedoms: freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, freedom from fear, and freedom from want, as their basic war aims. The United Nations Charter "reaffirmed faith in fundamental human rights, and dignity and worth of the human person" and committed all member states to promote "universal respect for, and observance of, human rights and fundamental freedoms for all without distinction as to race, sex, language, or religion". When the atrocities committed by Nazi Germany [and subsequent impostor professional career criminal predator con artist masterminds, including debt collectors core or enterprise groups masterminds, et al] became apparent after the Second World War, the consensus within the world community was that the United Nations Charter did not sufficiently define the rights it referenced. A universal declaration that specified the rights of individuals was necessary to give effect to the Charter's provisions on human rights. As the process of democracy evolves into sinister games of power politics the world becomes an even more dangerous place to live, not because of seemingly rational people Who Really Matter(s) in our government and corporations that rule the world who often act in seemingly irrational and/or criminally wrongdoings ways within the confines of their core groups organizations which forces our government to become an instrument of coercion for the creation of special privilege(s) after assaulting our nations moral integrity in the Sixties, then taking over or heavily modifying the cultural institutions they once sought to destroy resulting in the devastating effects upon our culture based on absolute, timeless principles that have been the foundation of all stable societies, freedoms only hope, which is still being degenerated with the relativisms there is no right or wrong, there are no absolutes, except that there are no absolutes, and other nonsense of isms and its bloated welfare state that wont survive our Information age either, but because of the people who wont do anything about halting the isms in every arena, therefore the government that is being forced to abdicate its legitimate roles of serving as impartial vehicles for the administration of legislative, executive and judicial decision making (the safeguarding of life, liberty/freedom, property and the pursuit of happiness) is forcing our government to become Our Enemy, The State, an agent for oppression of innocent citizen victims and their businesses and other entities. An understanding of our problem and the will to resist may be our only hope. Adapted from quotes from Albert Einstein, Dr. Miller Upton/Albert Jay Nock, Art Kleiner, David C. Korten James Robison and Judge Robert H. Bork.

Absolute, timeless principles. I am sought of them that ask not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name. But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath reveled them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have not receive, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him, neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ. I Corin 2:9 thru 16.
Liberty and Freedom are of said Spirit of God. It is best to be faithful with a little. Understanding our problem, the will to resist. Moreover knowing the course of events that will come to pass. Not every person will get things to line up. Also, not every one can go fish. Still unity of knowledge is required. Also unity of faith.
Pass Over. Freedom from slavery. Make very sure you have the blood over your door !. " I wish I were down on some blue bayou" bamboo can stuck in the sand. The way I am don't suit my shackles. Amen.
