What tiny percentage of individuals got in their heads the abstract concept of full-blown liberty to attempt establishing a representative republic. Such love of liberty made heal the world's greatest known army. Though an occupying statist theocracy now infests this land, said uncontrollable strength will once again raise an ensign of liberty.

The fire of Liberty, a burning desire in the heart of the individual to set the poorest of all Free, this done from the middle and top, those that have something to sacrifice upon the alter of Liberty for all. Independence creates strength untold. Then the poor, know who to look up to, besides the state and fed !

It's kind of surprising so few comments on this quote. Perhaps we have forgotten what full-blown liberty is like? I doubt ANY congressman would dare propose such a thing!

Very interesting, not forgotten Archer, now that a blow is struck at the ROOT cause of oppression and socialism. The oppressors know very well, This knowledge is power to the people. Here again we three stand !! A tri-cord of commonsense ! On our Creator's behalf. Ascribing righteous to our God. In one accord with our Founding Fathers. The Truth will make you Free indeed.

How many in today's dumbed down world have any mental cognition of an "abstract concept of full-blown liberty"? Most think that the more governtment licenses and permission slips they have the freer they are. NOT ! ! !  How many understand that individual sovereignty, inalienable rights and liberty at nature's law is/are a faculty of birth of each and every, any and all of our Eternal Father's progeny?

Let us utilize our liberty to house, feed, cloth, and educate the world. National housing now for everyone, no favoritism, and that means you too Mr Gates. National housing will have no restrictions, you're going to receive a modern quarters with all the modern conveniences, with all the facilities that everyone else has and you're going to love it. We are going to need to advance forward with computerization and robotics. Everyone needs to involve themselves with this technology. We need to form area clubs and have regular regional meetings involving ourselves extensively in these technologies.

With an education system which isn't a federal education system, its likely the USA would once again excel. Education is a states right. It needs to return to the states. Then there would be motivation, competition, innovation (not necessarily in that order).

What does any of that have to do with liberty, Fred?  You're talking about POWER being transferred from those that have it to those that don't.  Your technocratic utopia will have a perpetual cost.

BTW simply stating what "we need" are not solutions, it's just a politician's trick to foment anger and covetness.  And who shall have the power to command those with the most power?  A dictator!  Sheesh.  Get it through that thick skull of yours that these great ideas of yours will meet resistance, and who has the power to implement them will become the most powerful in the world.  Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Besides, not everyone agrees, so stop stirring the pot already.

Will the Republican Congress now finally dissolve The Department of Education and return the power back to the States?

Don't know much about power, but absolute authority is moral authority, and moral authority is absolutely moral.
