"[A] possible further difficulty is cited, namely, that arising from
the Constitutional provision that only Congress may declare war.
This argument is countered with the contention that a treaty will
override this barrier, let alone the fact that our participation
in such police action as might be recommended by the international
security organization need not necessarily be construed as war."

... and by this argument we would still be living in the time of the city-state... if this is an issue, then it is simply time to change our constitution for a good reason, the unification of mankind, rather than out of fear of self expression (flag burning) or homophobia.

It is strange how the globalist political elites can euphemize a war into something else such as a police action or humanitarian intervention. The bullets and bombs still kill our soldiers just like a real war. If we sent those elites to the front, they might even call it war. It's time to take back our sovereignty from cabalists. The US out of the UN, the UN out of the US.

The CFR is a banker-controlled shadow government with members in government and the media (the majority BTW). By bypassing Congress for declaring war in which Americans will be urged to fight (or forcibly enlisted), we let Congress off the hook and give the President monarchical powers the Constitution intended to prevent. It is high time we insist the President get a declaration of war from Congress or else no military action -- and it is high time we insisted that our Congress exercise their responsibility of representing the People -- if the People do not want to send their sons and daughters into foreign lands to make war, then the President can't wage it -- period. And while we are on the subject, how about Congress sending their own children FIRST to fight in these police actions... ! Rarely (I can't recall ANY) does a child of a member of Congress go to fight on the front lines -- what does that tell you?

So if it is not construed as war what shall we call it? A Police Action? VietNam 2? These guys are bent on destroying what's left of the Constitution and the creation of a One World Government. "Of course we're at war, we've always been at war." Orwell.

THE WORLD NEEDS TO KNOW---Wars are NOT financed with taxes. You cannot pay taxes with dollar bills that the IRS (Imaginary Revenue Scum) said "are not dollars" or with counterfeit and Nobel Laureate, Paul Samuelson said that the Federal Reserve is an "omnipotent counterfeiter" and they said their system of plunder "works only with credit" that would keep its value "if there were fewer people bidding against each other." NO ONE wants us to pay taxes, our Marxist misleaders have no need for money when everyone will risk or even lose their lives for weightless, intangible credit that exists only in the minds of slaves. What they want are checks that just authorize banks to reduce our credit and thus regulate the ratio of production to consumption so that our "worthless" money does not become useless paper. John Maynard Keynes wrote in The Economic Consequences of The Peace: "If governments should refrain from regulation (taxation, extermination. etc) the worthlessness of the money becomes apparent and the fraud (of banking) can be concealed no longer." There can be no better way to enhance the ratio of production to consumption than to eliminate non productive consumers such as babies, retirees, cripples and military via abortion, alcohol, aluminum, aspartame, caffeine, carageenan, chlorine, fluoride, MSG, Malathion, Milk, Nutrasweet, Sucraslose (chlorinated sugar) sugar, tobacco, vaccinations and endless wars that Eleanor Roosevelt said "we must get used to not intending to win." mIk, sugar, tobacco and wars are ALL killers and ALL subsidiced with bank credit. Wars will end when enough people learn that taxes cannot be paid with anything less than silver coins and as jurors quit punishing the few who refuse to waive their rights by confessing on 1040 forms to how how much they were cheated with paper money. A treaty does not, can not, or will not supercede the constitution. Only Congress can declare war (the military are not policemen with first strike authority). There is no issue.

Great quote. Demonstrates why the founding fathers warned against foreign entanglements. You can find yourself between a rock and a hard place. Violate agreements with other nations or violate the constitution.

Our constitution has been abrogated by Congress for many, many years...and will continue to be. Yes, Congress has the duty to declare war; however, it's a lot easier to allow someone else to do it. The Republican congress gave GW Bush carte blanche to go after terrorism any way he had to. This done while America was in a state of emotion after 9/11. How very convenient that phrase "Police Action" is. That said, the doctrine of Preemption is even more convenient IMO. All any president needs is 'suspicion' to attack any nation on this earth.
