That is why it is so important to our school system to rewrite history. Makes it easier to fool people into believing socialism is a good idea.

If this was the only quote of merit, it would be enough for mankind to learn from.

Here's a reminder from the past: "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is its natural manure." Thomas Jefferson He was up against King George too. Its time for a return to the Constitution.

The State school system "doesn't" teach any real history at all. But they do teach that the State is to be worshipped. Its criminal in its nature. Go on YouTube and search George Carlin / Education. There, is a wake up for you.

The People trust their government too much -- and obviously haven't learned from the past how dangerous that is.

And repeat them we shall, ad nauseum. What does anyone expect government schools to teach but reverence to the state? Parochial schools certainly teach reverence to the church. Government is just another evangelizing religion looking for converts and worship.

Oh good grief---all you Boortz, O'Reilly, Limbaugh (St Lush of the Humbug), Hannity, and Beck followers are even more stupid and ignorant than the commentators themselves. You sound as if none of you went beyond the sixth grade, if that far. No wonder America is "dumbing down."

Spoken like a true socialist slave.  If someone doesn't believe the currant carnal god's orthodoxy, they are all lumped together in a collective faux pas. Michael, if you stay tuned in here long enough, you'll find most the contributors are not dumbed down as your accusation would suggest.
