The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

Ron, the bible also says that people in power are there because God put them there. It also says that we are to serve them gladly and everything will turn out good. Interesting.

Yes, and he did not say it would feel good Jim. But work together for good. Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God : the powers that be are ordained of God. Art thou called being a servant ? care not for it : but if thou mayest be made Free, use it rather. This being one of the highest degrees of understanding made available to man. Liberty. Romans 13:1 and 1st Corinthians 7:21.

More to point Jim, your statement concerning who said what, requires Rightly dividing the word of truth, the whole Bible is for you, but not all to you. That which you state was never said by our apostle Paul, but by Peter. who preached servitude to the church and mosaic law, which was taken out of the way, nailed to the cross that believers might be Made Free from the yoke of bondage. Gala 5:1. Peter had a problem, does the king tax his children or stranger was the question put to him by Christ. I'm sure you know the answer. The Children are Free.
