Trostsky thought this too. For Lenin Russia was a bitter country where he had seen he brother executed. He was no Russian nationalist.

This statement just means "All men are created equal" Nationalism and Religion are the tools of Capitalists who could care less for either concept. Pride in race, religion, gender, and nation is for the simple minded.

These quotes are worthless, because they have no source citations. Such a citation might resemble the following: "V.I. Lenin, Collected Works, Progress Publishing House; Moscow, 1958; Vol. 23, p. 15." The Soviet Government published many editions of Lenin's Collected works, in a wide range of languages. Any one of those editions can be cited as a source. Such a publication proves - for most - that Lenin uttered the words in question. If You can find contemporary newspaper articles, that reprinted the full text of a speech - in which Lenin expressed a view that You quote - that newspaper should be cited as, e.g., Pravda, 23 March 1918, p. 6. These source citations proves the words in question actually were spoken. Until you have - and affix beneath each quotation - one or more source citations, remove these quotations.

Jay, it took me about 3 minutes to find a source:
I don't care what becomes of Russia. To hell with it All this is only the road to a World Revolution.
Statement after the October Revolution of 1917, as quoted in "Communists: The Battle over the Tomb" in TIME (24 April 1964)
