You got that right. And don't you just love terms like "noncompliance", pro-active, diversity, value-added, etc.? Whenever I hear some FAQ-wad use words like that with a straight face, I want to ask them if they believe the @#$% they've just farted out.

Pretty basic political truth about socialism, but incomplete as there are those human situations that for a short time do need "some" assistance to prevent loss of life, etc., but which must not be allowed to continue in the absence of such "emergancy" or be given to those who receive such will expect it forever and in such amounts as to allow them a "comfortable enough way of life" as welfare at least, which such aid should never be.

And Byron, don't you just love it when you hear that the income tax is "voluntary".

A flat tax would have no politics to it and would not aid "special interests." Bring it on!

Good quote, was made clear to all of us, that if we did not work, pay taxes, and play the game, death or incarceration would follow. heavy quote, very deep in its meaning, and the reality of it. Well, it kept the country strong, life is just plain ol hard sometimes.

One thing I noticed, many who posted, think those days are not here yet, they have been here for at least 40 years. Conform, or be cast out. That is what we were told and taught.

Couldnt agree more..we certainly live in a capitalist society with evergrowing socialist overtones...and it didnt start with obama.

Ralph T. Hamilton, by what definition are you calling this a capitalist society? I have given many legal definitions of capitalism here on this blog (dictionary, court cases, etc.), none of which come close to describing anything of this economy. The Federal Reserve alone kills all aspects of capitalism. When added to by statist theocracy's dictatorial anti-law mandates, capitalism becomes an even more distant concept. If you are using the current socialistic propaganda and re-definition of capitalism, I understand your statement.

Humanes are not all that interested in the dollar and cents game. They wish to have some independent choices, but ultimately the human being is interested in the contributions they have provided for cause of humanity, as well as all of life. It not what you have that identifies your humanness, but what you have become, a lady or gentleman. These are the greatest of titles
