"[T]he next time you read or hear about a murder victim, a rape victim or an assault victim, I want you to preface it with the word 'unarmed' so that murder victims become 'unarmed murder victims'; this is especially true in rape. How many times have you read, 'An unidentified woman, heavily armed with a semi-automatic weapon was raped by a man wielding a knife.' No answer is necessary, right?"

Interesting analogy. An "unarmed" rape victim...an accurate statement usually.

@ Cal....and when asked why she shot the guy six times she answered "Because the seventh time I pulled the trigger, the gun just went click" ;-)

So 20 UNARMED CHILDREN, 6 UNARMED TEACHERS and ADMINISTRATORS... right.
 -- James, Mountain View

James, RIGHT ! ! ! If the PRINCIPLE was ARMED and trained there would be 20 children and 6 ARMED teachers alive today ! When the UK took the guns out of the hands of the people and started severely prosecuting those that defended themselves with lethal force, violent crimes over doubled. The same is true of Australia and every other nation that did the same (including Nazi Germany). Those areas in the US that are identified as the most violent are the same places where gun control is the most egregious. Where freedom is most prevalent and the Constitution's 2nd Amendment is most applied, is where less violence occurs.
