There is no federal law, there is only law and, a very limited domain of actions permitted to be defined by Constitution rules, statute, etc. (none of which falls within the above quotes scope). Within the Representative's Republic (the individual sovereign being 'King', 'Caesar', 'Emperor', etc. to their inferiors) no body politic has lawful right to seize and distribute an innocent party's property. Where is the lawful nexus, the enabling operation of law, justice's authorized exchange (willful agreement between giving and receiving parties) ? ? ? It doesn't exist. Let me sugar coat this in the nicest language I can, the Federal Government is an alien body of thieves, muggers, and otherwise malefactors.

Thanks to this horrible "War on Drugs" cops can now seize private property without even charging anyone with a crime. If this isn't a police state please tell me what is.

Too many Cops view this ability as a government sanctioned shopping spree, a Free for the taking of anything new and shiny, or just old an dull, that catches their eye. In truth it is only a fabricated License to steal from everyone. That's Democracy in work, which is why we were all from day one guaranteed a Republic. Try explaining that to a liberal.
